Yeah. I'm getting it now. Couldn't resist the curiousity. Besides, I gotta keep myself occupied somehow between here and BF:V day.

gerauchertes: v0.1 was crap. Try v0.2. Actually, get the trailer to see how much it is improved. I am still downloading. I won't be able to play it until tonight or tomorrow.

If you've touched the infamous "expansions" for EA's MoH, you have a pretty good idea of how Academy stacks up vs. Outcast. Plus: Academy's protaganist less endearing than JARJAR.
I DL'd GC a month or so ago, but couldn't find anyone else online playing the one map (Hoth) included. I played around on my own and wasn't too impressed, although it seemed like a pretty rough first draft (flags on the map, for example, were standard BF American/German). Uninspired map design. Moonwalking AT-AT's? Oh yeah.

I suppose I have to fucking see it just so the dramitic removing of the helmet at the end of Jedi will then close the circle representing...
...aw, fuck it. And you know if Lucas becomes incapacitated, it'll be Spielberg taking the helm. Watch swastikas suddenly appear to adorn stormtrooper armor in the 10-disc Episodes 1-6 Super Special Edition Smell-O-Vision release.

Jedi Academy wasn't all bad, it wasn't as good as Jedi Outcast, but still pretty solid.
I can't really get excited about this Star Wars Battlefront stuff. It seems like such a blatant pathetic attempt to cash in on the success of BF1942, and like LucasArts figures that anything will do as long as they can put BF1942 WITH STAR WARS CHARACTERS!!!!!!! on the box.
It's sad how the franchise is being raped and raped and raped by the selfsame people that once made it the world's biggest sci fi geek dream.
Maybe George Lucas will get Alzheimers soon. Preferably BEFORE Episode III. Seriously, how many of you are even wondering whether you're going to go see it or not?

These clips are too small in terms of resolutions for computers. Also, are these silent movies?

Fuck that. I'm dying for Naboo Fighter.
Why is it that Lucascorp keeps insisting on spoiling the potential for every game by jamming in garbage from the new films? Nobody likes them already. Cut your losses and feed my nostalgia, damn you.

I agree an updated version of X-wing and/or Tie Fighter would be wicked!

Would rather see them making graphiclly updated versions of X-wing and Tie Fighter games, same exact game as the ones released just with updated graphics. I'd buy it in a second.
I'm not interested in Episode I or II content at all, most likely III either.

That looks terrible! Is this the console version or something? Also, notice how there is absolutely_no_dynamic_lighting whatsoever. A nice, retro, touch there, along with the moonwalking stormtroopers.

Looking good, should be fun to re-create some of those battles from the SW movies. Maybe we'll see a demo in the August timeframe :).
