Godfather Game?

A report on HomeLAN Fed (thanks Frans) has word that Electronic Arts' CFO Warren Jenson revealed that the company is at work on a game based on the trilogy of Godfather movies during a presentation at Bear Stearns. No details such as target platforms or even the game's genre accompanied the revelation, though the EA principal did say he expects the game will earn a "M"ature rating.

Wierd, Im midway through Godfather Part 2 as my "dvd to watch when going to sleep" and they bring this up.

1 and 2 were GREAT movies...3? Um...3 wasn't, really...

no doubt it's really just an upcoming expansion for "The Sims2"

That's a actually a cool idea...especially since there's already mobs in Sims Online...

I love that fake punch James Caan throws, about 2/3s of the way through that fight...the camera clearly shows the guy missing by a good foot or so...

They could at least try to something not derivative by attempting an RPG out of the damn thing. I mean, the movies were in some cases better than the books, but I can't imagine this game being anything other than a soon-to-be Walmart $10 double CD deal.

I sincerly hope they don't do this, not to the GODFATHER MOVIES!!! There are certain movies they should never consider making into games and this is one of them! What's next a 'Passion of the Christ' game?!?!
