My family is German/Czech, and their version of candy is Salted Licorice. I can't handle north american confectionaries due to the sugar... rich, super strong candy is my fav. Black licorice fits that mold perfectly.

Um...it isn't? Are you implying it's made of something horrible I don't want to know about, or that the only REAL kind of licorice is the black kind?
Relax, it's the latter.
Licorice is a root, and the black stuff is what it tastes like... the red stuff is strawberry flavored candy.

I am looking forward to seeing Troy, Spider-Man 2, and Shrek 2 in theater. AvP will be a DVD rental if it is worth looking.
YEAH! Spidey 2's looking pretty baddass. I'm really hopin' Shrek 2 looks as good as the early previews did back when Matrix Reloaded was released. AvP...never was a fan of the series, but I kind of think this will amount of something on the realm of Freddy Vs. Jason in sci-fi overdrive.
Should be fun if they let the CGI monkey's have at it.

Interesting... my wife had problems w/ brushing her teeth during pregancy. She learned to: 1) not do it on an empty stomach, 2) use very little toothpaste. Otherwise she'd wind up puking (dry heaves too! What fun!) after brushing her teeth.
Doubt it has any relation to your allergy, but just thought everybody should know that too.

I see Crest now has orange and cinnamon flavored toothpastes available. As I've always hated the taste of toothpaste (and gel isn't much better), I gave the orange a try. Not great, but better than the other two...
I am actually mildly allergic to certain mints.
Not the mint you cook with, not the mint in breath fresheners, just the specific strain of mint in toothpaste (or how it is processed, or something, I have occasionally ran across other mint that did not like me).
It is also near impossible to find non-mint toothpaste, so I am looking forward to trying the orange; Even if it sucks, it will be better then feeling like I want to throw up after brushing my teeth!

Just uhh, if you get the craving a lot, you might want to get a soft bristle brush and very mild toothpaste, as cleaning them too often could do damage.

I need a pizza flavored toothpaste. Or lime...

Seriously, 13 years ago I quit a 2.5 pack a day habit cold turkey. To this day I crave them. Spooky stuff.
Whenever you get a craving, go brush your teeth, seriously.
You will have really clean teeth, and usually the craving will go away when it gets associated with brushing your teeth. Or you will just have this weird craving to brush your teeth every so often, which is easier to ignore
Just uhh, if you get the craving a lot, you might want to get a soft bristle brush and very mild toothpaste, as cleaning them too often could do damage.
This is also a good way for just any ole’ person to stop smoking.
Of course, with every diet commercial.
