its really sad when people start talking bullshit about people they dont even know...I was 17 when i started talking with John as *friends* if any of you know what that word means.. And so what if we have a big age difference, we never had a problem with that, so i dont see why anybody else should have one- afterall we all have our lives and we do whatever we want with them, right? We're not the first couple with such an age difference and certainly not the last one... And there arent any hidden intentions behind me or anything else... We're just a normal couple that wants a normal&happy life just like anybody else.

Quote from Mrs. Romero:

"Lets make this topic a place where everyone can say "i love you" to the people they love!!! And they can even write something nice for them!!...

I wanna say "i Love u" to John!!...My super sweet and fun half!!! I'm so happy i've found u baby!! You mean so much for me&i miss you so much!... You're the most special person in my life coz u are so much like me ! =) "

It's bad enough that a man that old sees fit to rape a child, but a retarded child?

(p.s., she'll dump him after the req. two years for american residence are over)

Time for Stevie to break out the boobies again, she's single and looking for somebody else to support her now!

Enjoy getting fleeced by your mail order woman John. As soon as she's got a green card, she's gone; with half his money and some guy 10 years younger than yourself. I kinda feel sorry for the poor bugger.

Hell, about 50% of all marriages end in divorce anyways.

I thought it was closer to %60 for the United States...Bleh, don't recall anymore. Ah, I say congratulations to them and hope for their happiness. As for ethics, whose are we going by here? The American ethos of marrying within the same age group or one that derives from outside the country? I'm not one to argue this point, but within the US, and most of the civilized world, she is well above legal age to do whatever and wherever her wiles take her, so for her, I do believe all that is needed to be of concern is whether we need to contain Stevie Case before she corrupts another lost soul.

While I will admit the morality of this relationship definitely warrants an eye-brow raise /:-| (you need more emoticons Blue), ultimately I don't see anything truly wrong with it.

"homeslice"?

I give it 6 months, once she steps foot on American soil (and/or gets American citizenship)....

nin, your obviously not upto date on current immigration law.

They have to be proven to have lived together for two years before they can break up and she can stay, otherwise they will deport her

As for meeting on the internet, ive got nothing against it as such, however he initiated conversation and they became a couple while she was 16! thats wrong.

Having said that it sounds right from Mr Romeros perspective,.. afterall the guys a dick and it makes sense that if all the same age english speakers in your country see you for what you are, then you would need to import a niave child who has a very basic grasp of english.

38. Re: witness the tragedy.. Feb 2, 2004, 18:38 John

here is a DIRECT QUOTE from his bride-to-be, Rhaluka:

"I know!!! i'm SUPER LUCKY!! i hope i wont run out of luck...but sometimes i think people make their own luck in a way! John is the greatest person i know..."

I am? Why thank you!

But seriously, I know a friend in Australia that met a girl online from South America (forgot which country), and they are planning on getting married soon. I've got another friend that lives near me in GA who met a girl from Mexico and they're happily married now. So, not all internet-to-real-life relationships fail. Hell, about 50% of all marriages end in divorce anyways.

Oh, and I'm not Romero, BTW.

"but geez, a Romanian???" It's like you say "quarantined high-risk infectious person". WTF is wrong with someone from Romania? WTF is wrong with them getting married? It's not like it's unethical, illegal or even weird in this day'n age. WTF is it to you people? Leave them be. It's their thing.

ya remember Joe Millionaire who turned out to make like crap money then they did a second one over in europe?
Kinda sounds like that cause why did the first one leave and when? Was it after the release of Diakatana and him being canned from Eidos? heh kinda funny that he found her virtually and in another country really far away instead of some local girl who actually knows that he isn't the long haired fan boy who's gonna make you his bitch anymore.
