SiN was released a few days before Half Life, not the same day. But the release was close enough that HL overshadowed anything SiN had

The fact why SiN didn't sell was that it came out the SAME DAY half-life did. Half-Life got the jackpot, while SiN was ignored by people and bashed by the critics because it had issues that were fixed by the first two patches (right now, releasing a game with some flaws is not a sin at all )
If you haven't played it yet, I suggest you doing it (but first PLEASE upgrade the game). Five years laters, SiN STILL has some unique features in the FPS area.

Cheif_Suicide, Er... yes they were in game shots... but they can't seem to generate any publisher interest. That's what the demo they put together was supposed to do. So, no game. Sucks, doesn't it?

..yes, I guess her breasts are distracting by seeing the replies in this thread, but man, this news (screens) is sweet. I know they still haven't committed to making it, but I hope they do. I like the look, and if I'm correct, these are in game, not just models.
This would be a good Christmas present for December 04 or Spring 05. I think that Ritual is much more mature development wise and this could be a big seller of a game. I think it's all in the attitude, let the critics be damned, it's who buys and plays the game. Let's see what happens.....

how many copies Sin sold? I do not know if this product is the best thing this team should be doing. I would start something fresh... Tom? Richard? What are you smoking? Give me some!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned her eyebrows. Those look a bit off to me.. along with her flat and pointy ears. And her eyes are a little too green.
Although, for ingame characters, I think Ritual did pretty good.

I thought that was their tag. Dunno, never actually seen a copy, I just knew I couldn't reference Playboy.

Panick: "Still the face is wrong and I can't put my finger on it."
Her face has a rather Slavic look to it... and the eyes seem to be tracking something / someone. The pupil is off center as a result, giving her a slightly "odd" look... hard to see the hair and other details due to the lighting.

Yup, and dont forget Firestarter and Firewarrior....
...real classics
The shots look ok to me, too bad this game will never be.
Blade looks badass, though the old sunglasses (round ones) made him look alot freakier, thus even more badass.
Elexis looks nothing like in the old game which is too bad, though maybe you just can't see the long hair agaisnt the black background. Still the face is wrong and I can't put my finger on it. Maybe they should leave just a little more "cartoony" look from the old game.
Sin 1 was my favourite pure action game that took up where Duke Nukem left of.
Wish I still had Sin, I would fire it up right now. That game simply had the Best multiplayer at that time. (the map where you can walk on walls and on the ceiling was great) With the latest patch and all, it's a very playable and fun game.

The nipples are FINE. If you take a look at the 1600*1200 version, you can pretty clearly see that most of that big circle is aureole, and the actual nipple is normally sized and pointing forward.
Of course, the placement of the aureole on the breast seems way high, but it's an excuse to look longer.

I would SELL MY SOUL for this game to come out.
That is, unless I have already sold it in the past while I was intoxicated... I'm pretty sure that under common law, all contracts entered into while one is intoxicated are voidable at your discretion.
For this situation of yours, I would have to refer you to Lionel Hutz.

I'm sure glad that games like Purge and Chaser get made while Sin2 is ignored.
Yeah, the gaming industry makes sense.
