Well, he appointed himself, so it could be a dictatorship. But we also have El Presidente. Plus, no one has blinked since he appointed himself (or asked for a recount/recall/etc.), so either we're all very apathetic, or we all have confidence in his abilities as Mayor. I say we make like California and recall him... I want Sylvester Stallone for Mayor! As for 'El Presidente' I'm sure any revolution would quickly be crushed by and army of Terriers.

What are the term limits for Mayor? Well, he appointed himself, so it could be a dictatorship. But we also have El Presidente. Plus, no one has blinked since he appointed himself (or asked for a recount/recall/etc.), so either we're all very apathetic, or we all have confidence in his abilities as Mayor.

They needed to spruce up the level design and change the mission type a little. I did not finish it either.

If he/she can afford that car, then he/she should be able to afford to have it cleaned by professionals. Sir, I must take issue with that attitude. How far is ok with this mindset?
Say someonone rents their apartment, and that landlord had 1000 rental properities. Would it be fair for someone to conclude that the landlord is doing fine without their rent, so they won't pay?
What if a bunch of the windows in your home were broken out by some malfunctioning device, or heck, by your own horrible judgement. Would you expect someone to look down on you for asking for a way to cheapyly replace them? Hell, you have a house and they have a lousy apartment....the nerve of you trying to save some of what you already have more of...
The person with the paint can garfed, and now they are stuck with the damage. Is some friendly advice on how to help cut his losses so much to ask? Does it offend you that much?... |

I wish they would bring back shareware. Demos these days are too small to get a sense of a game. If they did that they'd have to actually make their games longer and they can't do that! A lot of games now last as long as a shareware episode from the old days would have.

Who cares about how he got paint all over the inside of his car. The fact is that he did, and it's amusing to ME, because it is not ME.

You obviously didn't read the 31 pages of postings.
I don't have to read the posting, the spray pattern isn't consistant with his story - if it was 'spraying like a jet engine', then why does his wheel have large globs of paint on it, but the door has a fine coat? There is almost no paint on the floor in front or sides of the drivers seat, which means he pulled the paint can out from behind the drivers seat, of which there are no pictures.

Absolutely has been 10 years. I first played it at a Superbowl Party in '94. I paid $5 for it on two floppy disks two weeks earlier, when it first showed up at Babbages, but one of the disks was corrupt.
And yeah, I actually clicked in here because of the evil AOL ads. They have a very good habit of crashing on my computer here at work, but not at home. Brings IE to it's knees, but with XP I can just kill it without losing the OS. I do lose all my open work windows, though, keeping my visits less.
I do enjoy the "Please enable cookies so we can track you with our spyware" popup, though.

DOOM! sweet game!
what gets me is that the true 'test' for new gadgets is wether people can get doom to run on it!
ive seen it running on some cell phones, PDA's, GBA, its kinda funny. (Although they are moving toward quake now (There is a quake build around for the GBA))
