The demographics really vary by major.... Very true, very true. In all my CSC (Comp Sci) classes the ratio of caucasian to asian was about 50/50, whereas all my philosophy classes had at most a handful of asian students (on the other hand PHIL classes are closer to a 50/50 ratio of male to female students, regardless of ethnicity, whereas CSC girls are rare :()

I'm at University of California, Berkeley studying psychology and linguistics. A good portion of my school is Asian, which is pretty normal for me. Almost all of my good friends are Asian, often first generation, like my roommate. My high school classes often left me as the only or one of two or three white people in my class. The demographics really vary by major. In CS and EE you'll find the most asian males. In masscom you find the most sorority girls. Frankly I feel weird when there are too many white people around, AUGH SUBURBIA! yea I'm a city (SF) kid.
How did the whole asian topic come up?

No anything related to philosophy courses is boring and useless. The end. Here here, very true.
So which institutions of higher learning do you guys attend? As of January, the University of Victoria will be my home (and of course I mean that almost literally as I'll be doing a 100% course load of CS & Math courses :()

BAH! Your opinions and taste buds are wrong! I just do not like them, because to we they are not really sour, they just want to be sour, and that just makes them annoying tasting. But they make them sour with a powder coating, and that SUCKED floating around in beer…big time! Well, I never said "put 'em in beer"! Then again, I'm not much for beer...
There's some fruit bar company named Edy's that makes frozen lime bars on a stick - they're badass, but they'll put a pucker on ya.
Speaking of booze, while in Vegas I hit The Cheesecake Factory, and had a drink called a "bikini martini", which was 2 kinds of pineapple rum and pineapple juice. Great stuff! So good I had 2 of 'em. Then the check arrives. They were $9 each! WHOA! And we're talking regular sized martini glass here, not some huge drink...

Not to change topics or anything (but I will). That Xevious version is a bit...strange. First off there are way too many flying enemies at the beginning. Maybe it gets that bad later on, but I've never seen that many starting out.
Worse, the ground targets stop appearing after you hit the next set of "trees". No tanks. No turrets. I went as far as the part where the boss shows up and even he wasn't there.
Makes for a pretty boring game to just shoot those flying things over and over.

carnegie mellon sounds like a pretty funny name for a school.. I guess so. It's named for Andrew Carnegie, and... a guy named Mellon. It's a pretty prestigious university in the US. One of the top schools in the nation for CS, music and theater.

I tired this Skittlebrau Only because I found some left-over Halloween candy. But they where those "sour skittles". So I opened up the last few "fun size" bags and dumped it into my beer.
GACK was it nasty, but then again they where the sour skittles (which I do not like anyway).
