Aye, Stephen, that picture is very close to what I see...or don't see, if you account for all that junk at the top of the page. It has a bit more of a refined look overall, but there are the same issues from yesterday:
1. The logo; is this Blue's News or UGO?
2. Way, way too much clutter and crap at the top of the page.
3. 1600x1200 and not finding news stories until you go down the screen about two-thirds; that is pretty ridiculous. I do not exect things to be "perfect" at 1600x1200, but at least the old layout sprawled out horizontally rather than this current, portrait design.
4. This is a personal bias, but I feel this is a step away from the simple, clean design that I have previously associated with Blue's News.
5. That advertisement toward the middle of the page is borderline offensive. It is bad enough to have poorly-designed, off-market advertisement, but to try and fit an entire webpage in an advertisement box???
Nothing is broken outright and we will still come to the site, but I would hope this is nowhere near the final design.
