Halo was and still remains to be total crap on a stick..I was excited about back when they first showed it at MacWorld, but that was shit, 4 years ago? Halo is definately not the BEST console FPS therefore it can't even compete as an above average shooter..and what do you expect having Gearbox do a port of Halo? Of course its going to be the same crap as on Xbox but runs slower on a machine 3x faster...lol if MS really gave a flying crap about quality they would've chosen someone else to do the port...FYI the best console FPS is on the Gamecube..goes by the name of 'Metroid Prime'.
You want awesome graphic and effects, playability, incredible A.I (on the space pirates), COMPLEX
and seemingly EXCELLENT map and puzzle design, AND a huge immersive and atmospheric world?? Play Metroid Prime for at least 3 hours and you'll be hooked  No other console /PC game comes even close to being as immersive as Metroid Prime...I'm sure either Half Life 2 or Doom III will raise the bar but for now Metroid is Prime
