Out of the Blue

Apologies for the non-update here. In brief, my mom, who has been receiving treatment lately for her second recurrence (third incidence) of breast cancer had what is described as a "massive" stroke last night. We're off to see her in the hospital, but her prognosis has been described as grim.

I just wanted to fill you in, as I'm not sure when I'll be back at this point. Thanks for your understanding, and for any good thoughts or prayers that anyone can muster on the occasion.

Another longtime (1996) lurker here... just wanted to send you and your family my best wishes. My father died of cancer, my mother was diagnosed and treated for breast cancer a couple years ago. I know it's a tough time for you, and just wanted to add my voice to those who are voicing support. Don't worry about us. We'll be here when you get back. Family first, always.

Blue although we connect solely through games and posts, be reassured that your online family here is greatly saddened to hear about your mother's illness. Not all of us have dealt with such issues yet, but we all hate to think about losing someone so close to us. Thank you for your constant dedication. There are so many messages here you'll probably never read them all Blue, but I wanted to weigh in anyway. My dad recently died of lung cancer and my mom is currently getting chemo for breast cancer. I saw your Out of the Blue and immediately felt for you. I don't pray but I will send you my best wishes. Good luck to you and your family and don't worry about keeping up with Blues News. We'll all wait for you.
