Two years ago my brother had a total kidney failure. Doctors were talking about a possible transplant. Yet he recovered and two weeks later his kindey function returned to normal. Talk about an amazing recovery.
I wish your mother the same kind of recovery, and more.

It's sort of sad that it generally takes tradgedy to bring out the best in people, but it's nice to see the concern for Blue from all around.
It reminds me of the end scene in Starman with Jeff Bridges when he's talking to Charles Martin Smith about humanity.

I'm really sorry to hear that, Blue. My father had a very mild stroke earlier this year and that was traumatic enough, so I can't imagine how difficult this would be for you and your family. Take as long as you need...
