I'm a dedicated atheist, so I can't exactly pray or anything. I also don't deal with trolls of sub-mammalian intelligence, so I'm not gonna deal with that bloody idiot either.
Had a friend have a massive stroke a year ago. Initial prognosis and appearance were absolutely horrific. Over the last year, though, she's improved incredibly - far beyond her doctor's expectations. She's still not the girl she used to be, but she's alive and kicking, and she's still -her-, she's still in there.
The brain is the ultimate computer, it has incredible powers of self-repair. Don't be discouraged by initial appearances, it's the first 18 months that count most and improvement can be radical.
Blue, I hope for the best, and you and your family have got my sympathy and understanding. It's a bloody difficult time.

Blue, we are hoping and praying for the best. I'm in my late 30's, but I still don't know how I would ever deal with losing my Mom..., yet I have seen many friends who have had to suffer through one, then two deaths. Recent circumstances around me have taught me to learn to embrace what was once a cliche, live and cherish every day...every moment.
I sometimes wonder if I am supposed to outgrow bluesnews at some point. I sometimes feel guilty for checking in, even when I no longer am playing games... and find it difficult to find one that interests me. But there are good people here. And with all the scammers, lowlife's, and fly-by-night sites out there, this place has been a Rock. Thats why I keep coming, and because Blue exudes decency and is a good guy we'd all like to sit down and have a coffee or beer with.

Ok people...the only way to have an argument is with two people...this is ridiculous. Ingore the child who slanders this bored...his comments aren't worth recognizing.
To all on this board, our well wishes go to Blue and his family. Don't degrade our efforts by validating this Frederick whatever. he doesn't exist and our ourpouring to Blue is what is important.
Blue, you have all of our support and strength. When you eventually have the time to read these posts, remember, ther are always a few rotten apples in a bunch...there is bad, and there are atrocities. But without such negatives, we could never truly appreciate the positive. Recognize and appreciate all the positive coming your way as we all should. |

reminds me of 1997, my freshman year in college... for some reason i developed a habit of checking blue's right when i got out of bed. my roommate would then proceed to stumble groggily out of his bunk and ask "so, uh, what's up on blue's?"
