The only time things get a bit tiny would be at your desktop.
I run my desktop at 1024x768, cuz I care about my eyes, but I play my games at 1280x768 and all it does it make things a hell load more sharp. The jaggies are hardly there and it does look slightly better in 2xFSAA but the loss in FPS is not worth it to me being that i only notice it when I look for it and not like when im playing as with seeing jaggies in 1024x768.
Dear Nvidia,
Thank you.

I do kind of wonder if AA is really necccesary anymore now that we can play at such a high rez with good FPS. It jsut seema like a gimmick now. I run pretty much everything at 1024x768x32 4xAA and 4xAF. My monitor is old and doesnt support higher resolutions very well. Even if it did, I think things get a bit tiny when I run 1600x1200, and even if I had a monster monitor then my eyes would have to move all over the place.
I used to think AA was kinda gimmicky too just because no hardware would really let you USE it in any real scenario. Not anymore! |

So I got a 9600 256mb at a local PC parts sotre, Chips & Memory, for $140.
For some reason, instead of going to go get my fucking card from the back, teh guy just stood there and took the next customer. I waited 10 minutes, literally, until I said something then the guy went to go get the part. I guess they have a system to where they put it in the computer and it prints out in the back room, cuz walking for 10 secnonds is apparantly a hard thing to do. I asked why it took so long and the guy said something about having some sort of system to make sure its the right order, wtf ever, and said thats just the way it is because they have SUCH CHEAP PRICES. I guess he wanted me to suck his dick while waiting for him to go get a damn video card and DVD player. What a shitty, lazy system
Anyhow, got it home, got it installed. Just a note, I was using a GFmx-400.
oh
fucking
shit
I had never in my life really played anything at 1280x1024, i tried it but it was WAY to slow on that card. This card is faster in high rez than that card in low rez(1024x768).
I cant believe just how differnt PC games are at that high of a rez with 16x AF.
Im happy. This is $140 VERY WELL SPENT.
I havent felt so excited abot a piece of PC hardware since i got my STB blackmagic (Voodoo2 for you n00bs) years ago, which was my first REAL 3d card, although I was running a permedia 2 at the time.
I will eventually move to 1600x1200 when i get a new monitor that supports that rez.
I do kind of wonder if AA is really necccesary anymore now that we can play at such a high rez with good FPS. It jsut seema like a gimmick now.
in conclussion, all I have to say is w00t

The dryer vent, in most dryer's is used for expelling the hot air, not taking in air.(you can find this out by looking at where the dryer vent leaves the building/house, see that little trap door only gets pushed open from the inside? Sucking air down that vent would not open the door, so this idea is out of the question. Air usually comes in from the room, from a small grate in the back.
If the vent was cloged up, and people kept using them, various things could happen. One of them very likely is being a fire, maybe just a mild one, but still a fire. That is why you clean the lint trap!
If all of them, on the same wall are not working, I'd guess a braker partially triped, and they are not getting enough power to run the motor and the heater/air exchanger.

it'd be odd if it is a blocked dryer since we used about 7 different dryers Maybe they all discharge into the same vent?
Good luck.
