Raven Shield Patch Delay

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 Raven Shield Website (thanks Frans) has word that the upcoming version 1.41 patch for the Rainbow Six shooter has suffered another delay. Here's the deal: "As you already know 1.41 has been delayed due to a longer test cycle than anticipated. We discovered an issue that could have impacted 10 15% of the community and because of that we decided to delay it until September 2nd. 1.41 integrates PunkBuster as well as correcting the problems related to 1.40. We are very sorry for the delay and thank you for your support."

Well I'd still find it hard to believe the fanbase of RvS would decrease by the release of Hl2

My fav servers are still there and will stay there for long enough, Hl2 wont offer what Rvs does, unless they get some mods out for it quick it wont change for a while either.

Many will keep playing RvS multi for things no other game will offer (how many come out with excellent coop ?)

So I think it's still sitting on safe ground, if it had to compete with other similiar realism titles I'd perhaps be more worried, but no, Hl2 and all the others will fill other caps but not this one.
