There's a Halo PC weekly update on Bungie.net (thanks Frans) with a report from the frontlines from Michel, Bungie's producer on the project, "who’s practically a resident of Texas by now." The update describes some of the game types being furiously played by the MS game testers and the developers at Gearbox. Also, RPG Vault's Dungeon Siege Legends of Aranna Diary #1 is online, in which Mad Doc's Tara Teich and Ian Lane Davis introduce the main elements in the upcoming Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna expansion, while also updating us on how development is progressing. Finally, the Ryzom Website has a weekly update describing progress on beta testing Ryzom, the upcoming MMORPG in the works at French developer Nevrax.

Did they ever say if Halo will have co-op play or not?

it won't have Co-oP out of the box and Gearbox hasn't committed to saying they'll do it as a patch. My own opinion is that they'll see how sales go and if it does well we'll *probably* see something.

jeez fredrickson, can you lay off the crazy amount of emoticons and signatures filling up the screen? as for halo pc, I think it's exactly what's needed to fill the gap between its release, and the most likely delayed half life 2.

I'd probably pick it up right away if its starting sale price is $29.99. Otherwise I don't like paying full price for such an old game. When Red Faction 1 came to pc, it was 29.99 (I didn't buy it though) and at the same time the PS2 version was still 49.99. I hope they do the same with Halo, or at least sell it for whatever it's going for on the xBox today. If it sales for 49.99, I'd rather get that used deal at gamestop if they still have it, an xBox and Halo for $150. Hell, I think I'm going to check into that. It would be awesome if Halo supported xBox live, at least part 2 will.

I have happy memories of dungeon siege co-oping with a bunch of mates, oh so addictive in it's day and I quite liked it's simplistic style of gameplay. I know there are people who found it too rpg-lite but for me it was a nice balance.

That is my feelings also, I don't plan on buying the expansion pack, just the sequel.

Yea i was hoping for DS to be a pretty replacement for Diablo 2, but the items/armor/weapons in the game were pieces of crap that provided no fun whatsoever to treasure hunt for.

I waited two years for Dungoen Siege and enjoyed the game for the most part. I would have rated it an 85% overall. I never finished the single-player game but a friend and I co-op'd through the multiplayer several times. It was good fun. But when news first broke on the expansion I can honestly say I have little to no interest in buying it. There isn't much replayability in the original game. So unless the expansion can change some of the major flaws in the original I won't even buy it from the barging bin. I am interested in Dungeon Siege 2... that looks amazing. I hope Gas Powered Games learned from the few mistakes they made on the original, it was their first CRPG even if it was a hack & slash.
