I enjoyed Tribes 2 a tremendous amount. It was a fantastic game. But when dynamix died and left us with a latest patch full of bugs the tribes franchise took a nose dive. This new tribes game looks great, but its an addon to an already declining franchise. Its like the latest Terminator Movie. Everyone though the second one was the end, and they shoulda left it at that. Now they bring this new movie out that has this spaced out storyline and basically makes the series take a dive. Anyways, I think Im gonna go install good ol' tribes 2 and play it up a bit. I'll keep an eye on this game though, it could turn out to be what the franchise needed. Hopefully its all new and doesnt just recycle off Tribes 2. Good move on the engine though, should put out some real nice graphics.
I think the longest working range of any rifle is about a mile these days, so it doesn't really matter.
Do you mean real life weapons? Or weapons from Tribes? Because if your talking about real life, you'd fall out of your chair if you knew the kind of range they get these days in the hands of the right military.
