I think you need to learn how to read. My one biggest gripe with games and their sequels & expansions is that they are too short / have too few levels in them. I readily enjoy the eye candy that some of these games give, and I readily understand that by spending so much time to build all that eyecandy, level designers simply cannot create as many levels as they used to x years ago.
In my opinion, in a game where gameplay is good enough that you don't really have time to look at all that eyecandy anyways (which I think RavenShield definitely falls under, you spend time looking at scenery and a terrorist plugs a 9mm into your skull), I'd rather there is a little less eyecandy, and as a consequence of that three more levels.
Seems simple enough to me, but I don't design levels for a living, so perhaps there is something more to it than that.

I'd rather you just keep them a little simpler, and actually make five or six per year. I don't know... Judging from your posting history, I think you'd complain if they simplified the maps to put them out faster, too.

Eight WHOLE missions? |

I think I'm having a heart attack...
Seriously developers, if all this attention you focus on modeling your levels to look as authentic as possible means you can only do one level per year, I'd rather you just keep them a little simpler, and actually make five or six per year. So that, you know, we'd go back to the days when games actually came with 30+ levels, instead of the current day trend of "maybe a dozen or so".
I'm not going to spend any money on an expansion with eight missions... (granted that I ignore multiplayer levels, I generally play single player only.)

Well, considering RS had about 12 missions and around 8 multi maps, that's a whole new game with 8 + 3 missions and 8 new multi maps, and even 5(!!) new multi modes. Plus the usual weapons, etc. I'd say it's one big expansion worth about the same price as the original.
Now whether or not you consider RS to be priced correctly is another matter entirely =)
Let's hope it's really 8 new missions that doesn't have night/day counterparts...

| Yeah, expansion packs are much too expensive these days, especially when there are free mods out there or great full version games in the bargain bin like Thief and System Shock 2. Expansion packs should be like $10 or $20 not $30 or $40. |
