Jedi Knight II .Net has posted up summaries of what's found in a new issue of the German GameStar magazine about plans for JediKnight III, the next installment in the Dark Forces series hinted at earlier this year (story). Here's a bit from the summary: "Raven Software is trying to put a lot more emphasis on the Jedi’s favourite weapon. While there will still be conventional weapons (even more than in JK II), the current estimate says that around 70% of the game will be spent using a saber." Thanks Dac and Ant.

I enjoyed JKII, the puzzles are what made the game less enjoyable. Come on, that jumping puzzle in the communications array part? The one with the huge pit you hat to jump over to get to very difficult to reach platforms just so you could match some crazy symbols? Ugh, if this JKIII story is true then I hope they do some serious brainstorming about the puzzles, as JKII wasn't very enjoyable puzzle-wise. Which brings me to my next question. Kenn, I doubt that you are reading this, and I take that you said nothing negating the story as possible confirmation, but could you make something solid? Maybe even just a "No, the story wasn't fake" or something? If I remember correctly, GameStar has a track record of posting BS in order to get hits and such. Anyway, here's hoping you decide to troll ths posting again.
