Robin William's Peace Plan
This is reprinted from a e-mail I got from a friend of mine in Tuson AZ.
Leave it to Robin Williams to come up with the perfect plan...what we need now is for our UN Ambassador to stand up and repeat this messae.
Robin William's plan...(hard to argue withthis logic!)
I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I 'have not heard of a plan for peace. So, here's one plan:
1. The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their affairs, past and present. We will promise never to "interfere" in their affairs again.
2. We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with Germany, South Korea and the Philippines. They don't want us there. We would station troops at our borders. No more sneaking through holes in the fence.
3. All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave. We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of who or where they are. France would welcome them.
4. All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 day visits unless given a special permit. No one from a terrorisrt nation would be allowed in. If you don't llike it there, change it yourself, don't hide here. Asylum would not ever be availabvle to anyone. We don't need anyu more cab drivers.
5. No "students" over age 21. The older ones are the bombers. If they don' attend classes, they get a "D" and it's back home, baby.
6. The US will make a strong effort to become self sufficient energy wise. This will include developing non polluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will have to cope for a while.
7. Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil.. If they don't like it, we go someplace else.
8. If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not "interfere". They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides, most of what we give them gets "lost" or is taken by their army. The people who need it most get very little, anyway.
9. Ship the UN Headquarters to an island some place. We don't need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, it would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.
9b. Use the buildings as replacement for the twin towers.
10. All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer.
Now, ain't that a winner of a plan.
The Statue of Liberty is no longer saying 'Give me your poor, your tired, your huddled masses.' She's got a baseball bat and she's yelling, 'You want a piece of me?'" - Robin Williams.

Just a thought I had the other day.....
When you think of the wonderous advancements Mankind has had the last 100 years (Flight, Space Travel, Communications, Medical, Computers, etc)...it is really sad to say that we havn't yet learned to get along with each other.
When it comes down to it - there is really only one race here - the Human race....(yes I know, we're not the only living things on this planet...) |

Who are you talking to? I haven't seen anybody on this board that would fit that description.
But that is a pretty funny article.

I know now why you guys support Saddam so much..... ahahaha
Saddam Starred in Gay Porn Films! Thursday April 10, 2003
KUWAIT CITY -- Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein has been caught with his pants down -- literally. A shocking 1968 porn film has surfaced, in which the flamboyant strongman appears performing raunchy homosexual acts!
The image quality of the grainy 16mm film, uncovered by the Kuwaiti secret police, is poor -- but experts who've taken a close look at the hairy-chested actor are "100 percent certain" it is a younger, trimmer Saddam.
"There is no doubt in my mind that this is Saddam -- there's no mistaking those eyes and that distinctive nose," declares Hussein biographer Sadiq al-Sabah of Kuwait, who's seen the eye-popping footage first-hand.
"It may be hard to believe that a man who now leads one of the most powerful nations in the Middle East once acted in blue movies, but to anyone familiar with how reckless and sexually promiscuous Saddam was in his youth, this will come as no surprise. It's also a known fact that the young, desperate soldier did anything for money.
"Saddam appeared in as many as 85 of these films under a variety of stage names, most frequently Omar Studdif," reveals the researcher.
Still photographs from the sizzling XXX-rated film, La'iba al-Waladaani (The Two Boys Played), were leaked to a Kuwait news magazine after authorities found it amid a stash of illicit porn in the vault of a recently deceased sheik.
Release of the pictures has resulted in howls of protest from Baghdad.
"President Hussein is the manliest of men. He would never behave in such a repugnant manner," says an Iraqi spokesman. "This is CIA propaganda."
But rumors that Saddam appeared in gay porn films in his younger days have dogged him for decades and almost torpedoed his political career when he was a rising star in the ruling Baath Socialist party.
"He was able to squelch the rumors in the past, but now it looks like the Kuwaitis have found the smoking gun," says a State Department source.
Al-Sabah claims that Saddam, then a struggling law student, acted in porn to make ends meet -- and because he was addicted to gay sex.
In the newly uncovered 86-minute prison flick, Saddam, then just 34, plays a naive young peasant who is wrongly convicted and sent to jail. He is initiated into homosexuality by a series of older and more experienced cons.
"Saddam's acting in the picture is actually quite good," al-Sabah notes. "One scene, in which he buries his face in a pillow and cries, is so touching you almost can forget you're watching a low-budget sexploitation film." -- By MIKE FOSTER

Here's a few bits from the article:
Tens of thousands of protesters demanded on Friday that the United States get out of Iraq (news - web sites) and U.S. troops arrested a fourth wanted aide of Saddam Hussein (news - web sites).
No prayers were held last Friday. Followers of the preacher, Ahmed al-Kubaisi, carried Korans and waved banners that read "No to America. No to Secular State. Yes to Islamic State."
"Leave our country, we want peace," one banner read.
"This is not the America we know. The America we know respects international law, respects the right of people," Kubaisi said.

>Yeah Babar, thanks for proving to us again that the U.N. is useless in this situation. The point of the article was, that .they WOMD are hidden extremely well.
Hidden extremely well, huh? What happened to the satellite photos that Colon Powell showed the UN that supposedly showed a chemical weapons plant? Did it just all of a sudden disappear and we can't find it now? What happened to all the proof the Bush/Oil administration had? They said they knew they had WOMD and they knew where it was. Now all of a sudden it's hidden extremely well?
It's amazing to me that you still believe everything they say no matter how many times they've been proven wrong. Why is that?
A friend of my wife's who was very pro-war read that same article and now feels very bad that she supported this war, and she now opposes any further action with Syria or any other country unless there's absolute proof this time. People are starting to wake up and see that they were lied to, you should try doing the same.
BTW, if you continue with the childish name calling I'm not going to bother responding to you anymore.

No, I don't think we should bomb them at all, but we should have been concentrating on that real threat instead of the immaginary Iraqi threat this whole time.

Yeah Babar, thanks for proving to us again that the U.N. is useless in this situation. The point of the article was, that they WOMD are hidden extremely well. Just like the one facility that they recently found, that had all the nuclear waste under it. The U.N. inspectors were there but never went down stairs? Pathetic. So far with 300 suicide vests, a known terrorist, tanks and weapons in schools and hospitals, and Iraqis greating or troops with flowers....... you still have a problem with this whole thing? Which brings me to the last question(before you fade into history) Are you stubborn, a communist, an ignoranamus, or all of the above?

Rumsfield now thinks we won't find any WOMD, and if we do we'll need help from the Iraqi's to show us where they are. This coming from an administration that had satellite photos of supposed sites and supposed proof that they had them. What, did the sites just magically disappear?
We were lied to and some of you believed it hook, line and sinker, and now you are willing to wage another illegal war on Syria based on those same lies. And when we don't find anything there they'll say "Iran....Iran has been hiding them the whole time" and we'll start bombing them. And again, we won't find anything, but by then it'll be too late. Three countries will be conquered.
Meanwhile, Israel has WOMD and has killed 2 Americans in the last few months and absolutely nothing is being done except we just sent them billions and billions of our tax dollars....and they are asking for more. I'm sure they'll get it, too.

LOL I really don’t care about achieving 400 even though I may further the cause. I agree this thread is dead, but I would say it’s been dead a long time. It could have been half as long and still accomplished as much. I don’t believe anyone’s mind was changed over the course of discussion. I may be wrong of course. For those of you who just enjoy the exercise of debate a lot, I guess the banter was fun. As far as my “goofy” quote goes, I may not agree with it fully, but I think it sums up my pessimistic feelings about this thread nicely.

Too bad, another 22 messages, and we'd hit the 400 mark.

Same here.
>>...especially since the one that Powell took to the UN was plagerized from a collge students report that is over 12 years old
>Where did you hear that?
Pretty much from every news source around the world....except of course the US. The day that the world broke the story the US raised the terror alert and that dominated the news. A few days later the terror alert was lowered and Rumsfield said it was because the information about a terrorist attack they got was false. How convenient, don't you think?
