It Came from QuakeCon, Part 5

There's a QuakeCon 2002 Article on PC.IGN.Com recapping their attendance of this year's event, describing the setting, and offering impressions of the various games on display, the workshops, and more. There's also a DOOM III preview on PC.IGN.Com with further details on the DOOM sequel, describing the game's demonstration, and offering a bunch of quotes from id Software's Tim Willits and Fred "Neilsson" Nilsson on the topic. Also, ZenGamer's QuakeCon 2002 Feature is online, offering impressions and photographs of the festivities.

About 30 or 40 of us got a chance to talk to Carmack after his keynote address. I don't recall him saying too much about Q4 other than the fact that (i think) Raven was working on it.

They should have called it DOOMcon this year. Not a damn word about Quake 4. DOOM 3 will kick ass, but it's not the single players games im looking forward to. WHAT'S UP WITH QUAKE 4?

He cut the possum's face off then cut around the eye socket. In the center of the belt buckle, where the possum's eye would be, he has placed a small piece of wood from his old '52 Ford's home made railroad tie bumper. Damn, he misses that truck.
