dumbass... if you got a bad crc error, it means at least one of the files in the zip is screwed up.. which translates into:
NO FUCKING WONDER it doesn't work right! You ignore an error like that and then whinge when it doesn't work? Maybe you do need to stick with tardproof systems like consoles...
Sometimes an error message really IS trying to point out an error!

The game is propoganda, however the game is just what it is.....a game.
A while back I was reading an interview where the creators were saying what they *think* people think about the US Army. Just to let whomever did that interview know, you are far from the truth.
People don't join the army for any number of reasons. For one, not many people in this country are physically fit. Most people in this country come from homes where their parents are more than able to give them money, and they also go to college.
For the small minority, they don't join the army because they don't believe in this country and what our leaders stand for.
Now to get back on topic of the game here.
The game isn't going to work like you think. Most of the people playing are 9-16 years old, and think "ooh..pretty...game!" Those that actually do 'look behind the game' are the ones that aren't going to give into the propoganda.
The bottom line is that the people that are going to join the army are going to do it for their own reasons and they don't need any persuasion to do so. |

hack past the bad crc in the zip, and install. then try to play and get greeted by the same unreal engine errors i've recieved with every unreal engine game on every computer i've owned.
i'm so sick of computer games. my fucking ps2 never does this. i haven't played a PC game or demo in 2 years that didn't crash 2 or 3 times per session.

The All-Seeing Eye says that the developers of America's Army do not support "open servers", so nothing except GameSpy will work.
Any one else wants to be able to use the All-Seeing Eye?
May be we should email to whoever made Americas Army to add support for other game browthers.

Downloaded but it doesn't get past the splash screen without a DX8 error. The forums are so overwhelmed I can't even login to post, after trying about 15 times to register in the first place..
