Wow, I missed that it was turn based. AWESOME! I'm glad to see that not every developer and publisher is worshipping the twitchy real-time gameplay.

Very much looking forward to Gladius.

3. Xbox "leeched"; Lucas falls on own sword May 10, 2002, 12:54 Soylent Bob

After taking such a financial beating overseas, cutting the price of the already profitless hardware of Xbox is like using leeches to treat a stab wound, but if anyone can survive the bleeding, its good old Scrooge McGates. Hell, they could give you an Xbox with your Windows upgrade and still come out on top.
As for LucasArts' Gladius, I hate to keep kicking a dev group that I used to love, but the only way I could see screwing up a great idea lika a gladiator game is MAKING IT TURN BASED??? WTF? I have no desire to play Roman Empire chess, I want to lop off some heads and toss a few Christians to the lions in real time, baby!

1. XBox owners May 10, 2002, 10:46 Gandhi

I bet all those XBox owners feel like geniuses right now. I guess $100 is not a bad price to pay for being the first on the block to own an XBox.
