| well i thought i was bored enuff to post something .. i recently went to duke nukems fourms and still seen ppl asking when is it coming out i had to laugh at them ... its funny i accually thought it was canceled about a year ago ... i thought the only nukem that was going to come out was that pos side scroller heh anyways im sure glad i dont have to worrie about id pullin that kind of shit ,,, there games always come out on time ,,, if theres a delay its like a week or so .. never like 5 years haha |

| ahh yes... but if they know how to make there women they would make it with nice big firm boobies and and ass and legs that kill ... in other words ,,, if they have done it once (2 times if you count doom2) they they should be able to do it again and make it even better this time around because of the engin being able to support much more things (mainly multiplayer support and good special efx) altho they seam to lost the majority of all of what was doom , i still think there is a small chance they can make something that accually feels and looks like doom and how it should be today (then again there was q3 look how fake that shit looked):| |

...DoomIII can only succeed if we let down our beloved memories of the past, all the chilling moments and ahas we had with Doom1/Doom2, and completely open ourselves to something new –not as easy as it sounds-. But being the animals we are, we prefer to pet ourselves with good things of the past. But that behaviour is like a foundation of our mind, and a way of basement which affects recognitions that are ahead of us. So playing the old Dooms was like kissing/fuggging a girl for the first time -a damn hot one in DoomI/II’s case-, and from this day on every new girl/fps will have problems in fulfilling our craving for unique excitement 'cause of being judged by a distorted measure our mind created long ago.

Please let's not get carried away expecting the second coming of Christ. We all know that it's going to be a good game. How good? Some will like it more than others as with any other game.
When you start expecting too much it only serves to lead to a dissapointment. I in no way am saying that Doom III will be a disappointment, unless you expect too much that is. How much is too much? Only you know that.
Be patient and you will be rewarded.
What id did as far as secrecy towards the project, is the best thing a companny can do to blow away its fans.
3DRealms might be taking a few years too many but hopefully DNF truly delivers, but in their case, it has been a very very long time. I bet you they're considering changing their technology to Doom III..... 
I'm actually disappointed that id will be showing the game off at E3. I don't want to know anything about it (except for what type of system I need to buy to play it) until I start playing it on my computer, but with as much as I surf the net, it will be impossible to avoid knowing a LOT about the game after the show.

| Well whatever his name is, Actually the main point is why is everyone all enamored with half life? I never understood I played it and it felt just like a slow version of a fps. Instead of a red key or a skull switch you pressed an "oxygen switch", or a "rocket fuel switch". Also few of you will be scared because you have played to many fps. (hmm fps's) anyway my wife was playing RTCW and she was scared quite a few times. (I was even scared once) anyway if you want to be scared play it (DOOM3) late at night and take some LSD, actually you would probably kill someone then so don't. |

Doom III much like everything (cept Q1) that iD software has produced it's a technology demo. Expect great games out of this engine. Get a grip n00bs. Quake64 anybody?

To all you kids out there, dont buy Doom III - it will blow chunks!!! Instead, why don't you spend your hard earned dollars on "Ultimate Special Mega Ultra Game-of-the-Year Half-Life: The Collecter's Edition," which will be in stores soon? It will retail for $80 (which we at Sierra feel is a fair price to pay for a 3-1/2 year old game), and it will include Team Fortress Classic, Counter-Strike (with an additional disc for all the latest cheats and hacks!), Opposing Force, and Blue Shift - the complete Half-Life line-up!!! With this much value in one box, why would anyone ever want to buy another game again??

U seem to take an analytical, almost engineering approach to why you play crazy dope wacked ass shooters. I guess this is fine, its just not the most ringing endorsement that one can say.
But u do LOVE tinkering with the editors.
There is hope for joy with your computer after all!
However, you still need more excitement...... dont expect me to wear a dress and lipstick so I can be your woman., I want more from a person is all............... demented lol |
