i go to a high school in the same district (poway hs class of '02...biatch) and let me just say taht the dress code is a complete load of arbitrarily-enforced CRAP. a good friend of mine wears his jeans down below his freakin ASS and shows like 3 inches of underwear...and gets away with it. and then here comes this crazy authoritative hosebeast. she even busted my friend's girlfriend for FIXING her bra and exposing her midriff. what can i say...im glad im graduating in a month and a half.

Dude, that is so frickin funny... I went to that high school... graduated class of 2000... I still live a mile away from it. And ya know what... rita wilson is a umm, not nice lady and paul gentle's daughter is one of the biggest drug dealers at the school, hehe. It's really very sad to see this.

Almost as stupid as possessing drugs or stealing a TV when you could get 25 to life for doing it. Freakin' exactly! This kind of shit always reminds me of the story about the guy demonstrating against a train carrying nuclear weapons by laying down on the railroad tracks. The train couldn't stop and his legs were chopped off (which of course he sued over). The moral of the story being - "if you don't want your legs amputated by a train, don't lay on the f*cking tracks!"

| There was a case up in canuck land not too long ago while where a bunch of students were forced-stripped to see if any money was stolen from a student. If I remeber that case quietly disapeared...but I do agree with you. It does seem that your rights are getting the "super flush". |

| I thought after I turned 21 i wouldn't care any more, but at 25 I am more sickened than ever by how minors are treated in this country. There is no excuse for treating high school students as if they were second class citizens or pieces of property. It's bad enough that we will force 18 year old conscripts to die for their country should Bushy start WW3, while throwing a fit if they go to college and drink beer. But our school system treates each and every teen as if they were criminals doing hard time in the federal pen. My father, a retired police sargent, is fond of saying that the legislature has made it illegal to be a teenager in Texas. It won't be long before I have children of my own and it makes me sick to think how this society is going to treat them. |

well, as you brought it up (hehe):
What does this mean (taken from that school's Dress Code):
Clothing that violates these standards are: 2. Undergarments, or clothing that reveals undergarments (boxers, tank top undershirts, underwear, etc).
My English vocabulary and knowledge is probably a bit limited, but I interpret that sentence to this: undergarments (aka underwear) are prohibited. wtf?
Regardless, I'm glad my college don't have dress codes.. mmmmmmmm

Be an ass and report him to you hoa. You can't have an ugly yard, or a boat in your driveway or cars infront of your house in my hood..... Two problems with that:
1. No HOA (thank god). Nothing against those that love HOA but they are not for me.
2. If we did have one He could probably argue that he spends more time on maintaining lawn than anyone else in North America. I think he may have OCD. He's creepy like the Unabomber.

I didn't get that impression from the article at all. I got the impression that maybe it's a bad idea for nonviolent criminals (burglars, drug offenders) to be locked up for 25-to-life for stupid things like drug posession and stealing a TV.
