Anarchy Online: Shadowlands Announced

Funcom sends along a press release announcing Anarchy Online: Shadowlands, an expansion pack to their far-future MMORPG that's projected for a 4th Quarter 2002 release. The add-on will offer two new areas called Shadowlands and the floating city of Jobe, profession specialization and perks, new breed variations and enhanced graphics effects, new armor and other items, and the proverbial more.

I tried AO a while back and the only thing that turned me off about it was that there was a lot of video lag in the cities. I didn't play AO very long though as I was disillusioned with the whole idea of MMORPGs from playing DAOC. If I were to start playing a MMORPG again, AO would be it.
