I'll try it out at some point buit if it as boring and mundane as Guild Wars 2 was/is, I will be done with it pretty quickly.
IMO it's even worse. I lasted about a month in GW2. 2 weeks was more than enough in ESO, it's just so damn boring.

Yea it is pretty hard solo. I did pub groups for some missions or just hung out with friends. I setup a couple BN groups for the different factions, just need to get back in and post em.

So, all discussions of Buy to Play vs F2P aside, is this game any good?
For an MMO, it's not bad. They do a lot of things that caters towards immersion, but they botch up grouping if you want to keep questing with the same people from one day to the next. Lots of phased quests, and no rested XP to help catch up to friends if you're out for a while.
Dungeon runs are kind of chaotic in a fun way because the AI doesn't just come straight at you like in other MMO's. I tried doing a line of site pull one time, and instead of getting all the melee mobs to come first, they grouped up with the casters and they all came around the corner at the same time. Was kind of a hilarious slaughter.
Basically it's worth checking, imo. I enjoyed my soloing in it. Haven't played since August.

It doesn't seem F2P, but a Buy-to-play model similar to Guild Wars 2, from what I've read. But I guess we'll know for sure in March.
Technically it's not F2P, no, as you still need to buy the client.
As long as they don't go the full-on retard way of SW:TOR, I figure they'll make more money out of it this way than with the few people who bothered subscribing to it.
