Your remarks were childish and got labeled as such, it is that simple. People in the other DA thread were calling you much worse, you got off light in this one. You do as much 'bullying' as anyone else around here, no sympathy at all for your hypocrisy. Now we're done here.

It wasn't even a proper mocking, a single sentence in a response to a different user. Get a thicker skin, welcome to the internet. Laughing out loud at the bullying comment, like anyone makes you post a particular opinion for other people to agree with or criticize, come to this website to interact with other people or use your computer. I've seen both of the people here making accusations about bullying engage in name calling, scream at users who put them on ignore in an effort to avoid them and try to forcefully assert their opinions on others. Telling another person to kill themselves but whining about bullying, that takes some real hypocrisy.

Deaf fucking ears.

You can't handle it? Me writing passion in capslock? That's what did it for you, really? Need I really explain it to you that, since we're all communicating through text, writing one word in capslock is like writing it in bold or *like this*? It's like saying the word with a bang, because it holds an important meaning/point in the message you're conveying. No reason to mock people for it. It's sad. It's silly. And in this case, it's quite honestly quite childish. You can go out of your way to make others look bad by digging up out-of-context shit from the past and conveniently not naming who did what so it could be attributed to all, but that's just sad, too, man.

You really go out of your way to be that typical online bully type. One needs only click on your nickname and check your comments to realize you're nothing but an angry *TROLL* with style. And you should really take that as a compliment because I can't make it any prettier.

sigh... it's nice to see that i'm not the one being picked on in this particular thread for enjoying a videogame. (on a videogame forum, whodathunk?!)

just because bullying happens often on this board, still know that it's mocked by the quiet masses who read but don't post. you prove to everyone that you're petty when you can't engage on the issue, and instead revert to personal shit.

calling people shills, PR-monkeys, or just insinuating that they're disingenuous because they enjoy something instead of panning it, just makes you look all more the fool.

just sayin. continue to prove me right. or surprize everyone by growing a conscience.

Like when you told me to kill myself because I compared the effect of people demanding a PC game be on Steam to the fees that developers have to pay MS and Sony for console versions?

I don't disagree with this post and I find the arrogance of shill accusations to be rather irksome (do they really find it hard to believe that someone might actually honestly disagree with them?!) but you should really ask yourself if you are ever part of the problem. I wasn't traumatised and I know you weren't making death threats but if that's not bullying, it is at least dragging a conversation down there.

So "Best Remaster" is a category worth mentioning but "Best Strategy/Simulation" isn't? Wtf is a Remaster anyway? Is that the new word for port?

Of course not. We've had numerous remasters of late. Everything from GTAV, which is clearly not just a port, to many LucasArts games, which have entirely new engines.

Looking at the list I never did check out Valiant Hearts: The Great War, I gotta get to that.

Shadow of Mordor is not surprising at all I guess. Far Cry 4 either, most shooters this year were pretty underwhelming. All in all we had a few standouts but it was a pretty disappointing year. Watch_Dogs and Destiny were big letdowns IMO. Same with DriveClub.

It's a good game, better than Origins in world design, combat and aesthetics. Worse than Origins in story, depth and quests. It depends on what you're into and what your expectations are. It's definitely a good game that's worth picking up. I hate giving anything scores but if I had to then I would give it an 8 out of 10.

I've beaten the whole thing so if you have any specific questions feel free to ask, I'm pretty well 'learned' on the game now.

I tend to agree with your points on Inquisition vs Origins. There is a lot of pointless filler content in both games but I think Inquisition has a bigger focus on it. I like the flow of combat better in Inquisition but I prefer the camera from Origins. Origins is more challenging, Inquisition is too forgiving for my tastes. The user interface in Inquisition is straight up bullshit compared to Origins. The Inquisition storyline gets too bogged down in politics and the weird narrative push towards elven stuff is a bit weird at this stage. Origins is more straight forward and cliched but ultimately more relatable and enjoyable.

Also I keep seeing people refer to Inquisitions as an open world game but is certainly not one and I wouldn't compare it to Skyrim for that reason. Big instanced zones != open world. The NPCs don't have any real AI by comparison, Inquisition has no attached world space and about the only thing it shares in common with Skyrim are those basic quests everyone dislikes. Comparing them does neither game any favors, they're both good and bad at various things.

Good show, you edited your comment. =)

Ooohh that "SHILLLL!!" nonsense every time someone shows strong enthousiasm about a game has gotten tired a long time ago and now it's just getting dead. Squirmer got a grounded point by both our views, and every other view expressed on this board. There's no reason for your attempt to patronize others who don't share your opinion or are, in your view, too enthousiastic.

PS: You're strange, too. *pouts*

"He might be serious ..." What the heck are you on about? I'm extremely enthousiastic about the game. To me, it's the best thing that happened to the gaming industry in a decade or more. Is this an exaggeration that's bordering on childlike and absurd? First of all, it might be an exaggeration from your point of view because you obviously don't feel as much for the game, but it's no exaggeration to me. Second of all, stop trollin'. You can only get away with that kinda bullying bullshit because you see it all over the place on this board. Doesn't make it any more charming or friendly. In fact, trying to provoke me like you do constantly is bordering on childlike and absurd. =)

Considering DA:I can't even crack the top half of recently released PC games metacritic user scores, I can't see this. There's plenty of 2014 games that were superior.

Also, Bioware has been caught shilling their games before...
Considering they had hundreds of one star ratings before the game even came out, I wouldn't take metacritic too seriously.

(People were upset about the DRM in it.)

If DA:I is as good or even better than Mordor I'll be very satisfied. Going through Mordor now, what a wonderfully produced game with what I feel is the best combat/action game in a RPG I've played yet.

Where is best tactical game? I played several very good one's this past 12. They'd fine the largest production one and give the award to it, but there were so many it should be a category.

I went back to grab Mordor when it was on sale last week after all the recommendations and praise here, and Amazon was sold out of keys. I really wish I'd just grabbed it when I first saw it :/

Tactical games kind of made a resurgence this year, between Divinity and Wasteland 2 and Endless Legend and so on. There was enough of them that it really deserves a category of its own... even Pokemon keeps refining its game, so it's not strictly a PC-space.

HorrorScope, if you ask me.. Comparing Mordor with Inquisition is like comparing a ramshackle house with an Orlesian villa. Dragon Age has so much more time and PASSION put into it I can't even try to express it with words. I honestly think that people who would argue otherwise just haven't played DA:I (past Hinterlands) yet. To me, the game is that revolutionary; that life-changing. I repeat: My friends and I feel the same way -- we cant let go of the game in real life; it's so insanely good it fucking haunts our damn dreams, lol

Why the fuck would you exclude exclusives, the best games of every generation have been exclusives. Exclusivity from first party developers breeds competition (and I'm not talking about Microsoft's idea of exclusivity wherein they buy up and subsequently destroy promising studios and properties).
