Ships Ahoy - South Park: The Stick of Truth

Ubisoft announces the release of South Park: The Stick of Truth, saying this action/RPG from South Park Digital Studios and Obsidian Entertainment is now available for Windows, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. The first reviews can be found listed among today's game reviews (the PC edition currently has a metascore of 84), here's a spiffy new launch trailer (NSFW), and here's word on the release of the game:

Written and voiced by South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, South Park: The Stick of Truth is the definitive South Park experience. Arm yourself with weapons of legend to defeat Underpants Gnomes, hippies and other forces of evil in the epic quest to become... cool. Discover the lost Stick of Truth and earn your place at the side of Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny as their new friend. Succeed and you shall be South Park’s savior, cementing your social status at South Park Elementary. Fail and you will forever be known as… a douchebag.

I dunno about buggy, played about 3 hours last night, didn't have any problems on the steam version. It's pretty much an interactive South Park episode, so pretty great if you're into that.

Stupid game. Just a blatant piece of trash.

See, this is a tough one. I see the comment, and my first thought was actually it being Hellbinder.

But then I look to the right and I'm like "Oh, ozmodan! Right! He shits all over everything, and never adds anything to the conversation. I should have guessed it was him!"

The game was repeatedly delayed and endlessly pre-sold at full price.

I don't think there is such a thing as a work safe South Park video.

Well usually its just audio. This video included aliens anal probing the dad and random nudity (at least as far as I got into the video).

Warning, not just NSFW audio, NSFW video as well.
Was watching at work with headphones on, turned it off halfway through as some of the images aren't shoulder surfing safe.

Efffing, Awesome! Party2 Worship
The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.

Just started playing it... so far so good.

Will play tonight, get the kids in bed, get my medicinal on, and have a good time, look forward to playing a comedy based game.

I'm excited, but reviews say it's Obsidian buggy. Won't crack it open just yet (though soon!), and if need be, I can send it back to amazon.
