End of End of Nations? MOBA "On Hold"

As noted on reddit, the End of Nations website is offline, and the Trion Worlds website no longer includes any mention of the science fiction MOBA, which started off as an MMORTS from a different developer (Petroglyph). Videogamer has a statement from Trion saying the game is "on hold." Here's word:

"As we informed EONís community last fall, internal development on End of Nations was put on hold in late 2013 while we evaluated potential paths forward for the title. We're currently focusing the company's energy and creativity on Rift, Defiance, Trove, ArcheAge, and some new projects that we will be revealing soon."

They blew it on this title long ago when they decided to make it a P2P game and charge u for units. They should have just stuck with making this a regular game with MP.

They have too many projects at the moment. It is good that they put this game on hold as they could not make up their mind what game they were developing.

This needed a major rethink from the beginning.

And it would be pretty simple idea.

Just focus on what shattered galaxy was once. expand, improve, and monetize.

As usual the simple ideas are usually the most complicated to the get right.
