And here I could stream the entire olympics, ever single event, live in HD over the internet. It's even archived, so I can WATCH every single event RIGHT NOW if I wanted to.

NBC Crows It Thwarted 45,000 Pirated Olympic Streams.

For the amount they spent on tracking this all down and stopping it, they could have set up streaming from nbc.com with commercials and made mad cash. The NFL did it, and gained a lot of respect from fans. Let's move into the 21st century, k NBC?

Cable Channels Hit With Nearly $2 Million Fine for Airing Movie Trailer.

I dunno, that seems a bit unfair. Sure they broke the law, but it's pretty obscure. And it wasn't done with malice, which is the intent of the law, to prevent people from abusing the EAS.

Not like they can't afford the fines though.
