Both systems are still overpriced for the tech they output.

Agreed. When the Xbox 360 was released over 8 years ago, it was on par with a mid-range gaming PC costing over $1000.
Today, the XBone is closer in performance to a low-end PC costing half of that.

The alarming paucity of games available for either platform isnt helping.

Time wont be kind to either console.

i'm pretty sure it's actually just down to cost - $100 is a nice chunkachange for most gamers. and then the bad PR - MS has to make up for that by being cheaper than ps4 cuz side by side, dollar for dollar ps4 is clearly the better system right now.

In other words, the XBone won't be so pathetic when developers finally learn how to harness the incredible power of The Cloud! Fingerscrossed Pray

Christ, are they still touting that shit?

Bunch of atheist gamers and developers refuse to believe in the power of the THE CLOUD. Only if you acknowledge THE CLOUD as the one true savior of gaming will you be granted passage to the land of 1080p60FPS. Woe to the nonbelievers for the all watching eye sees their blasphemy and condemns them to oblivion with last gen resolutions and suboptimal frame-rates.

The PS4 Is Outselling the Xbox One Because It Appeals to 'Swing Gamers' The XBone Sucks.

Can you imagine the insane power of the PS4 if Sony learns to harness the limitless power of The Cloud? It boggles the mind.

Has anyone specifically said how "the cloud" speeds things up?
Or do we just get references to "the cloud" without anything behind it, weakly rationalized or otherwise?

Who wants to bet the Microsh!t releases an upgraded XB1.1 with 8GB DDR5, minus Kinect, in time for Christmas for $399?

Interesting on the PS4 vs Xbox One survey they didn't seem to ask about the spyware camera, always on internet, previous gen RROD etc.
