I can't believe someone actually pulled the 'my IQ is...' internet argument crap. The lack of self awareness in making a comment like that on an internet forum for videogames is almost as funny as it is sad.

also the "you have no friends" argument on a vg forum.

he never substantiated any claims, either. He said the us economy is in trouble, which everyone knows, but never once showed a tiny bit of understanding of the factors. He came.in like an authority or bringer of truth but proved to know nothing other than how to link to questionable reporting.

...

And still, all this over a newsmax article and the lack of a single datapoint. "I could give datapoints, but I'll just say you have no friends and giggle. Not that I have no data, just that I like making things up so I'll keep doing it."

Your issue is that you're probably too stupid to understand why any of this is happening. You'll resort back to "IT'S GOVERNMENT SPENDING, STUPID!" when it clearly says that BH is lowering its exposure to consumer purchasing stocks.

In other words, stocks that depend on individual consumers buying things.
Because individual consumers don't have enough money to buy things.
But the average income in America has never been higher.

It's weird, right. Companies are hurting because the average American can't afford to buy enough crap, but the average income has never been higher.
I wonder where that money is going and where the problem is...

You make me laugh and I realize that itís a complete waste of time trying to talk to someone like you because you can only hear what you want but here goes.

Yeah, I'm too stupid. My IQ is around 150, but yeah, I'm too stupid. I bet you have a lot of 'true' friends in real life (not online) judging by the way you start every conversation by insulting people. Real nice guy! I'm sure you're very popular and people don't make fun of you every time you turn your back. I read your comments almost every day and can't help but think about how pathetic, annoying and miserable you are. Iím sure that most people here will agree with me even if they donít verbalize it. I canít imagine anyone actually liking someone like you except in the rare chance that someone equally as pathetic needs a friend because nobody else will put up with them/you.

BTW, I completely understand the article that I linked.

I like how you assume that I blame the government. Typical troll response. Since you brought it up though, I think that the government is simply in damage control mode imho. The economy will probably crash regardless of what they are doing and many think that they are just prolonging the inevitable with their Band-Aids in hopes of some miracle which will turn things around. Theyíre only human and I would expect nothing less from them.
While I donít think itís all their fault, the government doesn't exactly have clean hands in this either though. They did get us involved in 2 wars that lasted nearly a decade and cost us trillions of dollars and where did it get us? How did that help our economy besides inflating the pockets of the military industrial complex? I'm guessing that that sort of thing doesn't register in your mind though. I wasnít going to point fingers at the government but since YOU brought it up, there it is.

So why do you think that people can't afford to buy anything? Maybe because the dollar isn't worth a damn anymore and prices are skyrocketing?

If those stocks that depend on people spending money go down, what do you suppose happens to all the other stocks? Do you suppose that they will maintain their value indefinitely while the rest of the dominos are falling around them?

I find it amusing that you think that the average income is higher than it has ever been. I burst out laughing when I read that. That shows me that you don't really understand inflation. Sure, people are making more money on paper but if money isn't worth as much as it used to be, are people REALLY making more money? The answer is no, they arenít making more just because the number appears to be higher. They are actually making less when you figure in the cost of living and other costs. Walk into any store and try to buy something. The quantities are less than they used to be and the cost is quite a bit higher. The quality of goods is also much less than it once was. Youíre a smart guy so donít expect me to believe that you donít understand this.

So do you even have a point besides insulting/trolling people on a daily basis? Sometimes you have some brilliant things to say, but most of the time youíre just a jerk who likes to hear himself talk.

Oops, you dropped something. It's a completely unverifiable IQ quote. That uses "around," as well.
But, you can tell me which of the Triple Nine Society exams you qualified on. It's extremely douchey to mention these things, or join a society like the Triple Nines (or better), but, I mean, it would add more credibility if you told me which of those exams you took to get your number.

Followed by a paragraph about me instead of about any substance.
Somewhat typical.

Prices are skyrocketing? Apparently you haven't been to the mall of late. Yes, milk is more expensive. Yes, gas is more expensive (though cars are using significantly less of it.) But clothing? Pretty damned cheap. Toys? Video games? Electronics? Automobiles? Prices have either remained the same or crashed virtually everywhere other than energy. The dollar remains pretty strong and, even where it isn't, prices haven't altered much, leaving foreign entities making less on what they sell us, rather than expecting us to pay more.

So, you're not entirely right about that. Unless you want to show me a price that's skyrocketing. I'm paying about the same I paid for gas 8 years ago, in any case, so even that isn't moving very much.

I'm also fascinated by your lack of any data points, other than a newsmax article. That you're even mentioning inflation is also fascinating, because it means you did not understand the point I was making. Inflation doesn't alter it.
But, for sake of argument, fine:
According to these numbers, income in the US has rose 19.06% from 2006-2012.
Yet, according to these numbers, inflation was only 13.9%
In other words, the income of Americans outpaced inflation by about 50%.

And every American should have been making about 20% more in 2012, excluding promotions, than they were in 2006.
Think that's true?

And does this smash your little "inflation" theory, which seems based not on numbers but empty thoughts in your head, or do I need to start pricing goods from 2006 and showing what they cost in 2012?

Just to clarify, as far as the IQ thing goes, it's simple. I was tested several times while growing up and each time the score was slightly different but was always near 150, hence the ďabout 150Ē statement. Anyone with experience in such things would understand that this happens because the tests are slightly different depending on when/where you take them. I couldn't care less as to whether or not you believe me though. I donít need to feed my ego like some people seem to and I certainly donít set out to impress trolls like you. Of course itís easy for anyone without real world experience in such matters to do a simple web search to come off sounding like they know wtf theyíre talking about. Sound familiar?

For the bit about you, it seemed appropriate given the FACT that you opened up with the insults and you insult people constantly. The only people that seem to agree with you (when youíre trolling) are the cowardly ones who are too afraid that you'll turn on them next so they kiss your ass. You know, the whole "keep your friends close" thing. Yeah, that almost certainly applies to the people who you think are your friends. Think about it. You probably already know itís true. Itís a real shame because youíre obviously a very intelligent guy but you seem to lack any social skills. Anyways, thatís not my problem, is it?

I might have been a bit off in saying that prices are ďskyrocketingĒ but they are certainly increasing in many areas. Taking your mall example, walk into any sneaker store and look at the crappy sneakers that are being sold for $100 - $150+. Most of them look like they were made in 1985. Hell, we had better sneakers in the 90s and they didn't cost that much. Very few of the current generation of sneakers measure up to the quality sneakers that were once on those same shelves and if they do compare they cost well over $200. Many of those sneakers Iím referring to come from those foreign entities which you mentioned. Thatís just one example for your mall theory. The other things that you pointed out as to not changing in price, like video games, were overpriced to begin with so there was no room for the prices to go up and if they did, people wouldnít buy them. Itís the things that we need in order to survive which are being impacted the most by higher costs and lower quantity/quality. You might assume that you are paying about the same in some areas that you did years ago, but howís the quality of those products in comparison?

You can point to all the data points you want, but the fact remains, in the real world, prices are going up while quality and quantity are going down. I could pull in a hundred data points but there will always be a segment of the population with alternate viewpoints who will write the exact opposite so whatís the point of wasting time on such things? To try to win a pissing contest? No thanks.

I guess weíll have to wait and see if the economy actually does crash before either of us knows who is correct. Until then, Iíll enjoy reading your trolling attempts because it always makes me feel better about myself. Thanks for that.

So, then, none of the recognized exams, gotcha.

I don't think anyone here is my friend, or agrees with me regularly, or is afraid of me. But I do enjoy talking about myself.

Crappy sneakers tend to be around $40-$50. Less than that if you go into H&M. The ones over $100 are out there, sure, but, I mean, I had a pair of $200 Reebok Pumps in the 1980s. And several pairs of $150 Jordans. Jordans are still $150. And no shoe will go as expensive as those first Pumps were. You're just showing selective memory here.

You could throw out data points, yet oddly, you don't.

And you could have friends in this world but oddly you don't. You sit home and play video games BY YOURSELF! Oh wait, that's not odd at all. It's just pathetic and sad. Enjoy your weekend! Heheheeeee

I'm sure you're very popular and people don't make fun of you every time you turn your back. I read your comments almost every day and can't help but think about how pathetic, annoying and miserable you are. Iím sure that most people here will agree with me even if they donít verbalize it.

So do you even have a point besides insulting/trolling people on a daily basis? Sometimes you have some brilliant things to say, but most of the time youíre just a jerk who likes to hear himself talk.

One of these things is not like the other.

I would like to hope that you are correct and that I am wrong, but I expect there to be an even bigger economic crash in the next few years. I didn't come to this conclusion on my own. I got the information from some of the brightest investors on the planet who are dumping American stocks at an alarming rate.

Edit:
Saw this yesterday. People should be concerned instead of just brushing it off as nonsense especially since many other investors are saying the same thing.

I suppose that a 4/10 isn't so bad actually. Thinking2

I'm going to give that a 4/10 on the RollinTundometer...

Last I checked, America was pumping around 85 75 Billion dollars A MONTH into the economy with absolutely nothing to back that 85 75 billion. How long do you think that can go on for before the dollar isn't worth the paper it's printed on? Close your eyes, cover your ears, and scream to cover the sound of people ringing the alarm bells but it doesn't stop the giant train of shit which is headed our way.

I hate to come out of nowhere and defend a random guy on here, but I think you underestimate the psychological impact of the Cold War. Operations based on this hit their peak in the 80's. He wasn't saying Putin caused the problem, he said he's reviving it. The Soviets caused a lot of problems that even decades later have an emotional effect on people; their intent was to derive fear and dissent in the enemy populace.

It creates the issue where you can't separate meaningful protest from falsely-induced which generally leads to a government crackdown, not much unlike the concept for 9/11 was from the attackers' viewpoint (which worked, as it led to the Patriot Act and an economic recession). This kind of existential stress leads to all sorts of secondary ailments in society - everything from anxiety requiring medication to failed marriages and ridiculous politics.

So, yeah, him basically saying "F off" to Putin's efforts is a bit of psychological backlash that is likely warranted from the crap people had to put up with in the early 80's leading back three decades.

Spot on. It is bullshit, so if we can't have a real war (worse) we have to have a fake one to keep the BS flowing. I hate what they made us watch in classrooms in the 70's to this day.

Surprise surprise the rest of the world isn't America or Europe.

I've seen Canada, Spain, Korea, China and others, no problems there.

It's sad that Putin wants to bring back the old cold war bullshit, bully the voting process etc. So I get to smear in his face, "Where the fuck is the we will bury you U.S.S.R of yesteryear? All fucking talk and no do, pathetic. The self absorbed photo's a total insecure joke.", I only say this because in the 2nd-5th grade we had to watch propaganda films on how the Soviets were eating our lunches. Your fucked up ways messed with my childhood, you sucked then and you suck now. It is just what it is. Stop having to tell people what to do and say, accept the criticism it deserves and then and only then will you really be able to turn things around. Ego maniac.

You have some serious problems dude. The guy is a dictator of the biggest country in the world and he is responsible for ruining your childhood?? Usually Obama gets blamed for shit like that...

Perhaps you didn't understand the scope of what I write. America was fucked up brainwashing me into it. Their bad. USSR was idiots with the whole "We'll bury you" which triggered the American propaganda towards the youth in the 70's, we suck, they are stronger, 365 schooling (Fucking Lie). So there is plenty of blame to go around.

As for putin or any commie leader, I still want to know why they are so insecure that they have to have everyone have photo's of them everywhere? When you know damn well the people wouldn't have them there if they had a choice. That is phony ass bullshit of the highest degree and is a huge +1 for capitalized worlds. Now obviously a +1 for commie countries to no breed homosexuals, another fucking joke. They have to lie like a rug to think that gives them credibility.

As for facilities that don't work... figures. And we were worried about being buried by them. Looks like they'll burrie themselves in their own shit.

Is that any better? And by the way I was 100% correct with other countries not America or Europe hosting successful Olympic games, so

And are you saying he is not forcing his stay as furor? And doesn't want the old Russia back and all that goes with it? I think he is a wonderful example to America. The KGB in him won't die, it's all he knows, it what he wants. Just like we are run by the CIA/Military etc and they may say one thing, but really want some type of war going on to keep relevance and keep money greasing those making the decisions.

It clogs the cheaper water pumps. To echo Creston, this is pretty common in much of the world (the rest have a hole in the ground).
