But then I saw this:

This app has access to these permissions:

Network communication
receive data from Internet
full network access
view network connections
view Wi-Fi connections

Phone calls
read phone status and identity

Storage
modify or delete the contents of your USB storage

Your accounts
find accounts on the device

System tools
modify system settings
test access to protected storage

Affects battery
prevent device from sleeping

Some of those are forgivable, since Android permissions are a bit coarse, but there's no way that even an EA game needs all that access.

EA wants casual funbux from idiots on mobile platforms who have no math skills.

I have to echo the previous sentiments. Classic PC game, PC gamers begging for an updated PC release for over a decade. So obviously a freemium mobile game is the way to go! It's like they want to keep winning that worst company award every year. Maybe next they'll do the same to Tie Fighter. "$2 for shield refill. $5 to summon Lord Vader!".

...

I'm just kidding around EA don't do that last thing.

So far I am keeping up with that resolution as well...

And seriously, a Dungeon Keeper infected with mobile crap game design is nothing I'd ever want to even SEE, let alone actually play. No doubt it's ruined by retarded timers, cooldowns and grindy micro payments.

The shit on mobile platforms isn't even worthy to be called games...

To carry on with my Next Car Game Rant on the Big Idiots.

"announced today the worldwide launch of Dungeon Keeper™, EA Mythic’s devilishly twisted mobile take on the 1990s hit PC game. Now available as a free download for iPhone®, iPad®, iPod touch®, and Android™ devices, Dungeon Keeper allows players to build the ultimate underground lair and summon diabolical forces, all from a tablet or smartphone. "

Lets break this shit down:
1. An EA game that PC gamers have been asking for a decade.
2. A group of gamers that will pay good money to have.

And what do they do? What does their marketing team come up with? These pukes release it on a platform that hasn't really said a peep about wanting DK and then will give it away for free. No, no fucking golf clap even.

Oh yes, you guys are geniuses. I haven't made a New Year's resolution, but a good one would be to buy only Indy games for the year. Not that I buy a lot of AAA game as-is. But really, this is how they work their logic? Their creative accountants having nothing on this dept. Folks it's going to be a 3-peat.
