Stasis Kickstarter

Stasis is an isometric sci-fi/horror adventure in the midst of a Kickstarter campaign that's about two-thirds of the way to the $100,000 they seek to release the game for Windows and OS X PCs. They have a collection of videos showing off the game, and going a step further, they also offer playable alpha demos for either platform on this page. Word is: "The world of Stasis harkens back to Sci-Fi classics like Alien, Event Horizon and Sunshine. It is set in a time of blurred morality, where corporate pursuit of profit outweigh the rights of the few. In this dystopian future, an ordinary man must make the best of an extraordinary situation and save his family."

I'm backing anything Mark Morgan scores, though even without that the game looks good.

This does indeed look good. Like original Fallout good. So many different types of crowdsource games I want to throw my money into to, my god.

Looks good, hope they make their funding. I think it's a mistake making your first stretch goal more music however. I'd think most people would want to see more content or an editor first. More music would be last on my list of things to add to a game.

Keep in mind they managed to get the best composer in the industry, though - the man is a draw. I bumped my pledge drom 19 to 59 Dollars when they announced it.

And this doesn't seem the type of game amenable to featuritis or unplanned expansion. They need the money for production value exactly like this.
