MXGP, The Official Motocross Videogame Announced

Milestone announces MXGP, The Official Motocross Videogame, a game based on the official World Motocross Championship coming in the spring of next year to Windows, PlayStation 3,Xbox 360, and PlayStation Vita. "MXGP, The Official Motocross Videogame represents the Motocross come back for Milestone," says Luisa Bixio, Marketing and Sales Director at Milestone. "This new rebranding brings a lot of new features that we will unveil during the next months and for sure will amuse the Motocross fans. As for the previous Milestone titles, MXGP will be characterized by loyalty to the license and with realistic simulation." A launch trailer intended to get our engines revving, though this features no gameplay (though it does include the most erudite offer to eat someone's dust you're ever likely to hear). Here's a bit on the game:

From mud to the stars the Motocross’ Warrior made by Milestone, make their own debut on the ‘Current Gen’. Dust, emotion, simulation, authenticity, amazing jumps and the fight to the first position. These are the key elements of the new videogame based on one of the most adrenaline filled and challenging Championship ever. In this way modeled from dust and mud come to life the new generations of riders/players that characterize the new Milestone masterpiece. The aim? Win the World championship title match by match. A lot of new features have been included into the game that will inspire Motocross lovers and not only them.

I realy miss the MSFT games they made. Motorcross Madness and Midtown Madness were really damn good games and ahead of their time. I am surprised that another of those series hasn't been redone, but I thought it had something to do with MSFT Games Studio closing at the time?

An upgraded Motocross one would be awesome if this doesn't hit that mark....
