Play: Soom.
Spini.
Links: Super Mario themed recipe- mushroom stuffed 1-up pizza rolls.

Science: World's Largest Virus Discovered.
Media: Superhero Depression.
Underwater Bullets at 27,000fps. Thanks Cutter.
Person swap.

You're right. It brings back memories of those awful times in history when they weren't allowed to vote or marry.

I think this flippant line is undeserved. While not as bad as the persecution suffered by blacks and gays, Irish discrimination was a real thing. From Wiki:
Anti-Irish racism in Victorian Britain and 19th century United States included the stereotyping of the Irish as alcoholics, and implications that they monopolised certain (usually low-paying) job markets.[citation needed] They were often called “white Negroes." Throughout Britain and the U.S., newspaper illustrations and hand drawings depicted a prehistoric "ape-like image" of Irish faces to bolster evolutionary racist claims that the Irish people were an "inferior race" as compared to Anglo-Saxons.[21]

The fact that "red-headed stepchild" exists at all in the vernacular is testament to that.

Do you know what percentage of irish people are redheaded?

Nope, but all of them are hot.

Some girls feel that watching porn is akin to cheating (I used to date one, fucking hell) so I guess sexting could definitely be interpreted as such.

That's absolutely retarded and a big indicator of what would likely be a stunted bedroom partner. Ironically that might lead to actual cheating.

Well, it's a long way between sexting a girl who lives across the country and actually having sex. And it requires a lot more courage and fortitude to forgive than it does to act on anger and leave. Not sure if I could do it, but I don't know what's going on in her head, so I respect her decision.

Just my opinion, but once is hard enough to get over, but twice? "GTFO!"

As much as I can't stand another politico caught with his pants down (Ahem!), this whole thing is old news. Basically, the media is double-dipping into the same frakin' controversy that just almost finally blew over (AHEM!). I'm not sure where I read it, but he had told his wife that more shit was going to come out about him but that nothing has happened since the original fallout. Granted, you can take that to any bank you want, and they're going to most likely tell you that you can't cash a check written in Arabic with crayon, but I can see both sides of this. It's only coming out now because he's running for mayor. Otherwise, the media wouldn't give two shits...

reports i've read/seen say this is new stuff, that wiener's been spreading himself around anew since the first incident. i just don't understand people like this. there has to be something broken about you to not be faithful to your wife, esp. one you married just a few years previous.

I knew someone was going to make me dig it out of my browser history...grrrrr...

Here!

I'm goin' to bed...

And holy shit both governments over reacting much about a guy taking a swim? It's not like he was even trying to sneak into the country. Between illegals coming in from Canada and Mexico where is the actual problem between the two? I don't see 15 million illegal Canucks in the US.

Yeah, a $5000 fine is a bit steep. Also, you don't see Mexicans paying $5000 each time they get caught crossing the border.

from what i've read about her, she is an amazing woman too, and not bad on the eyes. but it just confirms my experience - even the smartest women can be slaves to their emotions.

Or ego. Just like Hillary and Bill, they're willing to put up with a ton of BS if it means they're the first lady and everyone has to kiss their ass.
