Ant, do you ever look stuff up yourself before you ask on here? Usually things you ask could yield an answer in seconds if you just Googled it.

And are you so cheap that $5 is too much for a good game?

So all the "Free to Play" games on Steam are just "meh"? I highly doubt you've played them all, as there are plenty of good F2P games on Steam.

Team Fortress 2 became Free To Play over 2 years ago now. How anyone has missed that is beyond me.

Thanks, but those games are meh. I was expecting like Portal 2 and other better games. Hey, when did TF2 go free?
Err... Portal 2 at -75%....
That's not free (100%).

Does Steam do free games too?

Have you looked?

I saw SHadow Warrior Classic, but that's so old. No free newer game giveaways? Does Steam ever do that?

I need to try that.

Btw, sleeping dogs is on sale now for under 7 bucks, and like others here at Blues, I absolutely loved it. It has terribly shitty driving, but everything else is top notch. Great story, great characters, great voice acting, a fun city to run amok in, excellent kung fu systems (they take a bit to get going though), and an easy 20-30 hours of great, great gaming to enjoy yourself with.

If you don't have it, I definitely recommend picking it up.

Re shitty driving: I discovered an unintentionally fun minigame:

1) Grab a bike.

2) Hit the highway, driving into oncoming traffic.

3) Pop a wheelie, and accelerate.

4) See how far you and the bike fly, after you're launched from the hood of an oncoming car!

But yeah, great sleeper hit, and highly recommended. It's a shame more people didn't buy it, as it sounds like it's chances of a sequel are low now...

I almost bought stuff yesterday but decided to wait. Today I got Xcom for $12 with 2 DLC. I picked up FTL for cheap too, but opted out of Terraria and the Binding of Isaac.

Terraria looks fun but it also looks like a huge time sink ala Minecraft. One MC addiction was enough thanks. I realized Binding of Isaac just wasn't my thing after watching a Youtube play through. It looked fun, it just wasn't really what I thought it was.

Far Cry 3 for 24 bucks is a good price. I'm willing to pay that.

Now been sitting here watching Steam chug on "working" for five minutes and counting when I tried to buy it.
