Out of the Blue

Blatant plug: I Was There Man is a new project from Walter "2" Costinak, who has provided this site with so much artwork and design help over the years, I couldn't repay him with a million such mentions. The site seems to be a repository for anecdotes from hippies of all ages, so if you have a good story about Jerry Garcia trading you a guitar for that last box of doughnuts in the 7/11 (a far more realistic scenario than those Diet Dew commercials), you should share it with them.

Hippie Links: Thanks Ant and Acleacius.
Play: Jelly Alien.
Stories: "Man of Steel 2" In 2014, "Justice" In 2015?
Science: Scientists: we believe we have discovered why cancer spreads.
How a High Fat Diet Increases Alzheimer's Risk.
Colombia: Beware the zombie drug.
Images: Comic Con Poster: "Riddick".
Media: ☭ Vladimir Putin: Kleptomaniac ☭.
What if you Couldn't Stop Smiling?
Candy Crush: The Movie.
Follow-Up: Autism Tied to Air Pollution, Brain-Wiring Disconnect in Studies.
The Funnies: The Birth of Grammar.

I read that article yesterday about scopolamine. Scary stuff.

Vice did a documentary about it a few years ago. Riveting.

That scopolamine Vice documentary is really specious like many of their docus. Don't get me wrong I like their stuff but they too often just pull people off the streets and let them tell wild tales while the camera eats it up. I'm not doubting that it's used criminally but I am doubting it's strength, delivery mechanism, and frequency. Scopolamine sounds like a very convenient excuse when you blow your life savings or do your relatives wrong.

New Superman movie next year? Meh... wasn't too impressed with Man of Steel. Seemed like they made the movie just for the 3D/IMAX effect, eyecandy stuff and not for the story.

I'll take it over the newly announced Spiderman 3 and 4...

Alright, 3 (THREE) times verifying the integrity of the game cache worked. *sigh* Back to Pandora.

Where was it hozing at? Mine ran, but maybe they revised the patch, as I didn't get it until I got home from work tonight...

Yeah, it's been used by the Nazis, and probably every government agency on earth. That sort of thing coupled with the rampant crime is why I've always had zero desire to go to Central and South America.

I saw some video on youtube that claimed that the Colorado Batman shooter was framed using that drug. I'm not saying he was, but the story was interesting either way.

And the Steam patch for Borderlands 2 is messed up! Can't play anymore, because the installation is stuck @ 1%... For the love of god, check your patches before release, 2k Games!

If only Steam was charging companies $20000 to patch on their system, this never would have happened!
