So this is one happens when you play this game drunk: http://tinyurl.com/ay98wh6

Those guys SUCK! They can't even get all the engines lit and off the ground (*)!

* says the guy who has no idea how to play the game, and could do no better...

I think they are all completely drunk also, at least they sound like it.

Based on the videos I watched, I always throw up my hands and cheer when the spacecraft explodes, but somehow the cabin they're in (and the Kerbals themselves) survives. :)

I had to stop myself from laughing too hard on my lunch break while watching this.

Goddammit! I'm 45 seconds in and I might as well go buy it! Looks FUN!

edit: Anyone know if you can save your designs off and pass them to other people (or download other peoples designs and try them out)?

KSP is on on my short list of favorite games of all time. I bought it about six months ago, played for a few days and then force myself to put it down.

I'm waiting for the 'game' part to be finished because I don't want to spoil it too much. It's really, really hard to wait, though. Especially since I have a feeling it's going to be a while yet.

Sometimes I think I'm just not smart enough or knowledgeable enough for Kerbal, at least to do do anything but make rockets crash into the ground or occasionally get one into space but doom the pilot to the inky black void of space. But the other half of me still enjoys watching them screaming in the bottom right cockpit windows as they realize the horror of the situations I place them in. You don't make omelets without cracking a few eggs.

I remember reading somewhere on KSP's website that the price will increase as they get closer to the release version.

I've been messing around with the demo. It's pretty fun, but gets tough once you get past just getting something into space and actually trying to make it orbit... that's when I start feeling like I need to go back to school

I did get one up into space and back down again safely... but that was mainly because I couldn't get it into an actual orbit... ran out of fuel because I had no idea what i was doing...

You can always get MechJeb (plugin)

Even if you don't want to cheat, it teaches you how an optimal ascent profile looks and with Smart A.S.S you can set a course and heading and have it "maintain" it (which is pretty vital..)

But mainly, you need Mechjeb so you can see whether your vessel has more than 4750m/s delta-v Less than that, and you will NOT get to stable orbit.

The let's play videos I've seen on youtube made it look like a lot of fun. I will grab it at some point. For now I just enjoy watching other people playing it.

That's pretty much where I'm at. I booked marked a YT channel and need to watch them all. If nothing else to learn what NOT to do.

I'm guessing because you can buy it on steam. It looks fascinating, and I really need to grab it. Maybe for next vacation in June...

Anyone know if they plan to increase the price for the final (non alpha/beta) version?

I thought Kerbal Space Program is still in Alpha?
Why do they review it?
The game is not even finished yet.

I was interested in Evoland, but I hear it's very short, as this review confirms (6 hours).

Bummer...
