FFS, I keep saying it in most of the Steam top 10 threads, but seriously, *all of humanity*, stop buying Skyrim so the price continues dropping.

Actually, do NOT stop buying Skyrim. Keep on buying it, so that MAYBE Bethesda will stop kissing Microsoft's ass and will develop a PROPER Elder Scrolls next time. One that isn't gimped by having to run for an 8 year old box of shitty hardware.

The Bioshock puzzle game doesn't really affect anything, you're safe. You unlock the in game rewards quickly, don't worry about doing all 59 puzzles you just get some silly facebook shit.

was having another go at it a few weeks ago. Made good progress up to blight town...

...and promptly stopped playing again.

Blighttown mainly sucks due to the sniping section, the rest of it is annoyingly designed but easily overcome. The worst part is when people invade Blighttown though.

Those who bought Bioshock Infinite, make sure to do your https://www.finkmanufacturing.com/# puzzles for some ingame rewards.

Was going to do that until it sounds like it also effects in game factions. I want a clean playthrough...

I can't go back to this... it's just too painful.

If you really really hate Blighttown, you can do it in ten minutes and never go back. Well, if you start with the Master Key.

Go down to the New Londo ruins from Firelink, then take the elevator up to the Valley of the Drakes. This is where you need the key. From Valley of the Drakes there's a back way into Blighttown. It's relatively simple to follow these platforms down to the bottom--just follow the torches to the ladders. At the bottom of this, hang a left and follow the wall to get to the swamp bonfire. The boss is a quick sprint through the swamp from here.

If you don't want to fight them, you can avoid the rock throwers by running to the very far right of the swamp *then* crossing over to the big webbed up place. You can get to the boss without fighting anything but the little fire breathing bug things. Summon someone, and Quelaag is cake.

If walking slowly through the swamp is the thing you hate most, you can get the Rusted Iron Ring. Lets you move normally through the swamp and tar areas of the game.

Edit: Actually. You don't even need the master key. You can get to the Valley of the Drakes through Darkroot Basin, and then you can just sprint past the drakes. Easy to avoid.

GMG totally owns Steam on the Infinite presales. I was going to hold off, until GMG threw in everything! Pick your bundle ( I went with Bio I and Mafia II), XCom, $15 GMG credit, and Infinite for $59.99. Sold!!!

I did the same but with CIV 5.....that 15.00 credit sold it for me.

Totally stoked this is the case. I can't afford this out of the door, but will pick it up when the price drops.

That ARMA 3 alpha is impressive. The only downside is seems like it'll be a big time commitment to get into and get good. Not just a drop in and play for an hour sort of thing.

I agree, I've been playing ARMA for a few years & yes it's not a "drop in game". In fact some of the best ARMA II moments I had was playing along side Evan from PCG in a Co-Op game that lasted around 3+ hours.
