They could have at least chosen a unique setting and premise for the game. There are approximately 50 million WW2 strategy games in existence. One of those is Company of Heroes 2, which looks many times more interesting and actually innovates within the genre. But, but, but... MOBA! |

The real issue is I love the company for what they are trying but their execution of products has been found lacking. I am guessing this doesn't get funded due to perception, fact or fiction, of their production values. If Chris Taylor doesn't get WildMan this one doesn't either. Sadly this will cause some real world issues at the HQ I am afraid Hope I am wrong. |

they speak to an unnamed person or persons at Petroglyph, and receive the fairly standard reassurance about microtransactions: "Players will be able to spend real world currency on items in Victory. However, Victory is not a game about buying power – everything can be obtained by purchases with the in-game currency. It will be quite possible to be competitive without spending real money or grinding an extreme amount." Well, I freakin' hope so, since YOU'RE PAYING MONEY TO BUY THE GAME. What the hell is wrong with people?
Not that I should be expending any energy on this. They've made 1% of their goal since going live, so this will probably float across the English Channel like a lead balloon. |

So, why is this better than Men of War or Company of Heroes?
In fact, just go buy Rush for Berlin on Steam for $5, fucking AWESOME game. |

I hate these tiered early backer limits that if you don't get on the early ones you have to pay progressively more. That alone keeps me from contributing to anyone who does that. |
