He was an interesting man to be sure. I'm curious what this is going to entail in the region now.

Yeah, old man winter can kiss my ass anytime now. I'm really feeling edgy and need some life affirming sun and heat!!! Oh well, going out with friends tonight and I haven't gotten gassed up in a while so this seems like as good an excuse as any.
And yeah, that Ars NASA article is the best thing they've ever done! Man I would so love to do that! |

Yeah, what is that, a 42" TV?
Small... I had to replace my broken 56" DLP with a 55" LED LCD a week ago. It's in my basement. Which my Wife usually doesn't grace with her presence.
Which makes it a man-cave. But I don't have "props" of weapons from a console game down there. I just have everything to make my PC and console gaming comfortable and enjoyable. |

| Haha, we have kids come into the store with shorts when it is freezing out. Nine times out of ten they are freezing and complain about how cold it is. PUT ON SOME PANTS, YOU IDIOT! Of course, women also come in and complain that it is cold when they are wearing shirts that expose most of their breasts. PUT ON SOME, oh, wait. Nevermind. Carry on. |

I gotta admit, I got a good chuckle out of the "Well, bicycling is bad for the environment, because you exert yourself and thus produce more CO2!"
That's truly just... mindboggling. Of course, twenty odd years ago in Holland, a fucking PVDA politician tried to argue that it was "Ridiculous that people could breathe air for free!" and he tried to impose a "breathing tax."
So, Seattle lawmakers, you still have to work a bit to get to true insanity level. Chop chop! Those idiot laws and taxes don't come into fruition on their own, you know?

The human body is extremely efficient so it's a no-brainer that cycling is cleaner than a comparatively primitive car.
If lawmakers stopped zoning suburban sprawl then we wouldn't need to commute so far. I say heavily tax the lawmakers for being filthy dirty on the environment.
