War of the Roses Free Weekend; Patch

The War of the Roses Website announces a new "Outside the Law" update is live today in War of the Roses, adding a new map, mew weapons, and new armor to Fatshark's melee combat game. They also announce this weekend the game will be free-to-play on Steam, and Paradox Interactive is holding a live streaming session tomorrow on Twitch at 2:00 pm EST where Executive Producer Gordon Van Dyke and others will demo the game, show off the new content, and kick off the free weekend.

Then you guys are lucky. Doesn't change the fact that the majority of Americans have caps (Comcast, AT&T, Cox, Charter, etc). There are too many places where monopolies exist for cap-less to be a real option for most people. Where I live, it's either Comcast for cable, AT&T for DSL (not high-speed U-verse, only 6mbps), or some other shitty company for satellite because they're available pretty much anywhere. I dream of the day someone gets off their ass and spreads some fiber around here... As it is, only major metropolitan areas like SF and LA have that.

does anyone know if this game has a dedicated "shout" button like in chivalry? nothing like running down a hill with 10 people shouting slogans and such

So that's what was in that gigantic goddamn patch that is almost as large as the entire goddamn game installation, which I promptly canceled and uninstalled the game because nobody ain't got time fo dat from something I haven't even tried yet. We may have high-speed internet these days, but we DON'T have infinite goddamn bandwidth allowances to waste on your needlessly large updates...
