I'm surprised the Worms series is owned by thq.

It isn't. They licensed a few games to port to handhelds. That's it - the license to specific games on specific platforms. Not the entire series.

Red Faction surprises me. As well as Darksiders, Homeworld, Supreme Commander. How in the world were these IPs not picked up?

Some of those are surprising.....esp the first 2.

Darksiders surprised me that it wasn't picked up first time around, and that Crytek didn't want it when they bought the majority of Vigil. I played through DS1 at Christmas and picked up the DS2 complete pack from Amazon just after, and been having a lot of fun with it. Reminds me so much of the old Soul Reaver games.

RF doesn't surprise me though - THQ themselves, before they hit the rocks, had decided not to continue with it because of poor sales.

So, even though Red Faction is kind of somewhat in the same universe as Saints Row, it's no longer under the same roof (and possibly dead.)

Interesting.
It's fucking disgusting!

I think Darksiders 2 underperformed and publishers are leery now. Red Faction is surprising though, RFG sold like what, 4mil copies? Just give that to the Just Cause devs.

The Summoner games were always underrated, I wish I had the money to grab that IP so it doesn't end up in a holding company for entity.
