As for the game itself, I think it could be good. The lack of a proper SP campaign is disappointing but the game will have skirmish mode against bots, in addition to a new horde-style mode. In most RTSes, skirmish and multiplayer are the most-played modes so making the game F2P makes sense. Who knows, if the game does well, they may add SP campaigns.
On the bright side, I see bomb trucks, angry mobs, toxin rebels, technicals and tunnels in the video, so the GLA looks to be back in good form. Thanks! I did not know there will be skirmish against bots. That's pretty much all I play in RTS games. For some reason I thought they said there won't be any bots in the game, only online MP. If there's skirmish vs bots then color me interested again. |

| This is one of those franchises, like Duke 3D, that you wonder how someone could just F-up so badly. I dig RTS games, but every time I tried to play something past Generals I just thought "oh my... here's one I won't be buying". But I tried and tried, usually picking them up at some Steam sale where they were only $2. And I still felt cheated. Not at the cost, but at the time I spent anxiously waiting for it to install only to spend a hour with it and go "yep, I was right. Sucks big time." |

But those were just archival stuff.
None of the Westwood staff had any input on C&C3. |

Played this about a week ago....hmmmm....looks different then the one I played.
**EDIT** Now i know why it looked differnet....because iw as playing C&C Tiberium Alliances....and it sucked!
