BioShock Infinite GMG Pre-order Bonuses [Updated]

Greenman Gaming announces their own BioShock Infinite Steam pre-purchase unlocks besides those mentioned yesterday by stacking a couple of additional bonuses on top of the pile by offering their own alternate set of preorder bonuses for Irrational's shooter sequel. They are selling Steam keys, so but the original Steam don't bonuses apply (currently the original BioShock). Instead, GMG will add the original BioShock as well as your choice of the following games to your order: Spec Ops: The Line, Civilization V, BioShock 2, The Darkness 2, or Mafia 2. Thanks DEALZON. Update: Cleared up out initial misunderstanding that the GMG bonuses stack with the Steam bonuses, rather than replace them. Apologies for the error and any confusion.

Wait..So what you're implying is, the larger and more profitable a company is, the less customer service driven they should be?

Nope, nice try on putting works in my mouth, though.

The larger a company is, the more support issues they're going to have. If origin and uplay had the traffic that steam has, I doubt their support would be any better.

But don't let that stop your trolling...

What a load of fucking shit nin, what a COMPLETE load of shit. Companies AROUND THE WORLD have better support, much better support and they are a fuck load bigger than Gabes little shop.

Funny how i can talk to a real person at Origin, or even Uplay, not that they're worth a damn. But atleast they provide the customer the option.

Steam however gives me the option to wait days, or even weeks for a copy/paste response from guy who could give two shits.
This is my own personal experience dealing with Steam's lovely non-existent customer service.

If origin or uplay had the amount of traffic steam does (including support), that might be a good comparison.

Wait..So what you're implying is, the larger and more profitable a company is, the less customer service driven they should be? Valve makes a trillion dollars, and their profit margins are unheard of, hell Newell has been quoted as saying they have such an excess of cash flow that he feels it's their responsibility to try new and different avenue's such as hardware(steambox)and new controller schemes etc.

So of course we should excuse them for providing THE worst customer service in the business? Gotcha..

Yeah I have to agree. When my BF3 premium got borked up I got an EA representative on the phone about half an hour after my request. Problem solved.
Don't get me wrong, the problem was origin-related and shouldn't have happened in the first place, but when it comes down to person-to person problem solving valve is just terrible.

I guess Gaben and his team of geniuses place more value on ruling the world rather than give a shit about their legion of rabid fans.
I'll bet i've purchased more games through Steam than most, but when it comes to their customer service, Steam can kiss my ass.

One time steam even told me I was going to get the pre-order bonus when I ordered it elsewhere, and I didn't. I took a screenshot and send it to useless steam support, and it didn't do a thing.

Even if you do get the key early, and you can register it and it might even say "Pre-order" in your library... It doesn't count as a Steam pre-order with the bonuses unless you buy it from the Steam store. Also, most of the keys GMG has are classified as Retail or ROW, etc.

This is correct. I pre-ordered. There is no key for Steam yet, and it may not go out until release day. Which means the pre-order bonuses won't apply. They did give me $17 in credit and two free games though, which I wasn't expecting.

That xcom deal-o is really hard to pass on simply because I know I can sell/trade that code easily. VGFive.com (new game trading site) let's people trade steam codes among other things and I picked up Assassin's Creed 3 from someone on the site recently. I already have Xcom so assuming I found someone wanting to trade for it I could hopefully get another game down the road, DMC on PC should be equal value on the site soon...and it's just sitting there saying "Buy me!, BUY ME!"

So tempting...

Steam pre-order bonuses do NOT apply to GMG pre-orders, regardless of the fact that all they're doing is handing you a Steam key, unless they specifically say so. One example I remember is that they did have some of those Professor Genki DLC keys for Saints Row The Third.

Right here, they're actually just poking the bear, saying "We don't believe in unlocking pre-order bonuses" and giving a couple of guaranteed free games. Though something about that deal is expiring after the weekend... I can't tell exactly what, since their advertisement is not very clear.
