That's what Doom 4 should be like. The old Dooms with modern graphics.
Instead it's probably going to be a Doom-ish mod for Rage basically. The old style level design and gameplay is gone, unfortunately. |

While Skyrim is awesome, what Konrad Tomaszkiewicz said about the lack of characters is pretty accurate. This is a game about the world and the characters are just bland actors inhabiting said world.
I'd totally agree with that. Characters in the ES games always felt like 2d cutouts...

So awesome... yes, they should!  except only graphic designers like these don't get paid to do that, so no real incentive.
I think A.I. should be developed and robots should start taking the roll of artists and be programmed to do this kind of stuff. Like Google image analysis recognition or something. |
