Indeed. Not a perfect understanding but close enough. Still, the point remains good psychology translates into a perfect marketing opportunity.

Sure, there's a solid product, I'm not suggesting its a hatchet job or something. Have a look at their ad spend for Skylanders last few years though, it is hard to fail with that kind of exposure.

And I think I've contributed what's felt like half of that for our 4-year-old. It's like crack for kids, he can't stop talking about them, begs to go look at the display in every store and his birthday party was Skylander themed. Money pit!
