I loaded a couple house locations mods, unread books glow, some map markers, lighting, and a couple other small things not to completely change the first run on my PC.

Le Antichambre! Wouldn't that be L'Antichambre?
(It's been ages since I took French in high school.)
Creston Actually yes it would seeing as it's the definitive article. I like Le Antichambre better though. |

JayDeath wrote on Feb 10, 2013, 15:28: Why isn't Dead Space 3 available on Steam? I seem to remember seeing it there at some point. You aren't missing anything. They turned it into an action game where they just spam large amounts of Necromorphs and other junk at you. There is no finesse or thought to the gameplay anymore, you will be better off just mindlessly unloading clips so that you don't get overwhelmed by the sheer numbers. The new save system is terrible, lots of QTE sections and so many elevators and hidden loading sections that its just dumb. It's an above average action game with some horror elements. There's so many conflicting game elements now, the controls are a bit of a mess between cover, stasis, all of your weapons and other junk.
Dead Space 3 is a disappointment unless you go into it only wanting to play coop. EA will probably kill it off unless their appeal to the masses strategy works and honestly, it's probably for the best if this is the future of the franchise.

Because -- and I'm not sure I mentioned it -- it will suck. And this is coming from a person that isn't that unforgiving, because I actually enjoyed AVP 2009. |
