Ships Ahoy - Dead Space 3

Electronic Arts announces the release of Dead Space 3 in North America for Windows and consoles, saying that this will be followed next month by the release of Awakened, the first DLC for the third-person shooter sequel:

Liked the first, the second one not so much. From what I hear, the latest installment features a near-constant barrage of cheap scares, with monsters popping out of closets/vents/the ground/whatever is at hand. For that alone, I'm going to pass on the SP. Gets old so, so fast.

Will probably pick it up for the co-op, eventually.
